First, here's the Mantax I promised you. Second, remember the Soviet Union Guy I drew a while ago? Well, his actual name is Vovochka Gansukh and he's awesome. I drew a new revision of him for your enjoyment. This one has a longer beard, a less dramatic gradient in the eyebrows, a curlier mustache, and a more accurate Soviet uniform. YOU ENJOY NOW!

Obviously, not me. As regular visitors to the Rift will be aware (possibly), Seranikai is the name of a character in the trilogy of novels I'm writing. Strangely, though he's my favourite character, I had never drawn a picture of him...and I've drawn almost all of the characters. That's how I design them. Yet good old Seran appeared in the novel, fully formed, with not even a sketch. But things change, and now, finally, I present an illustration of the real Seranikai. Isn't perspective fun. -Seran

Go to BBC and I have many new MOCs up which include: Tahu, Onua, Gali Phantoka, Twilight Taka, two Order agents for an upcoming epic, one of which appears in Lightstone chapter 7, and a creature I made from all six Barraki about a year ago. I did make a Kopaka Phantoka stealth bomber like ship, didn't turn out well though, so I don't have pictures yet, but I will eventually, and I made a Tuyet out of Gadunka, Takadox and a few Hahli Mahri parts, but I didn't post Tuyet since it isn't that great, but go take a look.

I added a sketch of Zaktan in my art topic, and 2 more sketches of my "Stupid People!" comics. The one of Zaktan was done last night, or this morning , and I didn't put as much time into it as I could've, but again, it's just a sketch. The other 2 sketches of "Stupid People!" were done a while ago, and I finally got 'em up. Hope you like 'em, and remember, disco is in this year! -Jordboy1

You guys might remember my Motar animation from a while ago. Well here's a sequel! I Can't Believe It's Not Motar! Now with 2% the health benefits of regular Motar!

At the moment, I seem to be doing everything except for what I'm supposed to be doing. Good times. I didn't make this when I had other things to do. Whatever. This is a picture I made of my friend Lee as a Jedi. Because he is a Jedi. With flared pants. Yay.

... wait for it... That's right, folks. I have returned from my phantom lurkingness to announce a winner in the Great Hedgehog Hill Kanohi Contest (see previous entry for details). I apologize for the delay. And so now we're all burning with anticipation to find out who it was that came up with a winning name and power for my original, exclusive Kanohi mask, right? It is none other than... ... the amazing... ... the talented... ... a person whom we all appreciate tremendously... ... BioHero Phantoka! That's right. Of all the wonderful, imaginative entries, I could only choose one. One that resonated, that hadn't been done before, that made sense, was pronounceable, and fit the look of the mask. Behold: Kanohi Ixaphon, the Great Mask of Location. It allows the user to locate fellow teammates. Like a GPS, it also reports the user's own location on a mental "map" of the vicinity. Congratulations to the winner and a big thank-you to everyone who participated here on Hedgehog Hill! -BC

Well, if this isn't a bolt out of the blue... About a year and a half ago, I drew this mask. ("Ooh!") After recently reading bonesiii's blog entry Vector Art In Powerpoint: Quality, Inexpensive, Easy with great interest, I felt inspired to try my hand at transforming my sketch into a professional-quality image. I wasn't content to use Powerpoint exclusively. For one thing, the Office gradient tool is extremely limited in functionality. Since I own a copy of PhotoShop Elements 2.0 (legally bought for $90 CAD like 5 years ago), I felt free to exploit powerful raster tools to supplement the convenience of vector graphics. Here's the finished product, a highly tuned meld of vector and raster methods: ("Aah!") To celebrate the achievement, Hedgehog Hill is hosting its first. Contest. EVAR. The challenge: come up with a name and a power for this brand-new, never-before-seen Kanohi mask! The rules: So, what are you waiting for? Put those creative juices to work! Comments on the mask as art should be directed to the topic in General Art. -BC

One of the crummier aspects of being fully bilingual in Finland comes up when you can't get out of attending English classes. On the other hand, boredom does have a way of sparking creativity. I drew a little cartoon sketch to pass the time today... I surprise myself. Why don't I doodle more often? -BC

"Tree Band... the name invokes memories of concerts in Ta-Metru, listening to the chibirau while riding down the Kini-Wahi path on an Ussal crab, the disturbing performance at the Ko-Koro vs. Le-Koro Koli match way back when, memories from when we first discovered ourselves here." _Mata Nui Messenger, 0 B.T.L., Windfade 25 "Even as I write this review, I can't help but hum the brilliant guitar riffs from 'Love Pulsation,' an incredible song joined by 19 others in this awesome album." _Ta-Metru Tribune, 1 B.T.L., Snowdawn 5 "I am speechless. This is easily the greatest rock album ever made." _Chibirau magazine, Snowfade 0 B.T.L. HISTORY Easily the first of the popular rock bands, the Tree Band was founded in 68,876 B.T.L. by a vocalist named Adron. Adron was a street performer from the nicer part of Le-Metru, playing the xylophone and singing. Many people took note of how brilliant a musician he was. Later on, he proved to be an excellent songwriter, creating a new style of music. Adron commissioned the designing of several instruments from the machinery industry Ussanui. Adron sketched out plans for something called an imitator, which resembled a bassoon, a guitar run by proto-electricity, a stand with many kins of drums, and a voice amplifier. Adron got recognition as a genius after the imitator, drum set and electric guitar hit music stores. Many musicians began experimenting with them, including a hopeful rock star named Sanso. Sanso became a public performer using Adron's drum set invention, setting up base in the same part of Le-Metru that Adron started in. The imitator was revolutionized by two artists, Makani and Mikktam, both Le-Matoran. Mikktam was famous for raging imitator solos, while Makani wrote songs purely for the spooky-sounding instrument. After these instruments began to sell and musicians began to produce, a Grand Rock Festival was organized in the newly established Xian Hall. Adron, Makani, Mikktam and Sanso happened to meet at the Xian Hall before the show, and each rehearsing, the four solo artists decided together. And thus it was formed--Tree Band. With Adron on lead guitar, Makani on imitator, Mikktam on bass guitar and Sanso on drums, the quartet rocked the Matoran World for many, many years. 127 albums were released. (Mikktam left the band and went solo around 56,000 B.T.L., but the band went along fine without him.) When the Tree Band arrived on Mata Nui, they changed their name to Le-Koro Tree Band and toned their music down. Adron was still lead vocalist, but he now played xylophone, as he did in the beginning. Makani took flute and Sanso took to a single drum. Also, a bongo drummer named Kissako, an acousic guitarist named Vira and a duet of flutists took stage behind them. (Tree Band did all the music for the MNOLG1 except for the Gali vs. Tarakava, which was conceived by girl-group Takea, and the Pohatu vs. Nui-Jaga game theme, done by a Po-Matoran disco group called the Beat Cacti.) Their 127th and final album, Sunny Mata Nui, was released after the defeat of the Rahkshi and contained all of their greatest hits, including many from Metru Nui they had reemembered. Well I finally got my Barraki Pre-Pit artwork up. Only sketches for now, but I hope to get the finals up soon. The other thing I'm working on at the time is a custom avatar for myself and then a personal photo, my avatar is nearly completed, I'll just need to make it a final from the sketch I have already. I hope I can get my avatar up as a good one and put in my signiture that I could make them for others who would want one similar, and hopefully I can get better with help from Lady Kopaka. I know my art won't be as great as hers, but hopefully good enough.

Go and check out my entry topic Here please. I think I'll CG later for fun.

There is no way I'll be able to finish my entry in time, I guess I'll just enter the sketch... This stinks.

I've barely even started coloring my AC14 entry, and I'm gonna be busy tommorow... I need an extension. <.<

Here's A Picture Of Admiral Ackbar I Drew To Keep You Happy.
Little Miss Krahka posted a blog entry in blogs_blog_326
Mmmm. I don't make enough Bionicle fan art. I might make stuff for the latest Art Contest, but the only thing I can come up with is straight-up Bizzaro Toa or something. And I might actually make that a comic. Which would be kinda entertaining. Maybe Bizzaro Makuta. "Me am bringing hope and joy to all Matoran! Please to be waking Mata Nui forever!" I dunno. Everyone's gonna do Evil Toa. I might as well do Incredibly Baffling Good Makuta. Or maybe I'll try to make it as much like the Mirrorverse in Star Trek as possible. Nuju with a goatee. Gold sashes. All that. Until then, enjoy lovely sketches that are too horrible to make a CoT topic for. Besides, no one cares about CoT art topics, since no one is here for the CoT art. I've got other places to display my art, and it's fine. I'm doin' this as a just punishment delightful treat for all those who read my blog, even when I don't update it for months on end. So here's a picture of Admiral Ackbar that I drew. IT'S A TRAP!!!
