Hard Work Good, Hard Work Fine, But Never Trust A Deadhead
Javi posted a blog entry in blogs_blog_845
I hung out with my friend and this other kid yesterday. I didn't really know the guy - just that he was in my gym and technology classes - and that he's a "cool kid". I was a little worried about that, but he wasn't nasty like I expected; just a kid who makes the same dumb jokes and laughs at the same stupid stuff as us. So I was trying to figure out the difference...and the only difference between him and me is that (well, first, I don't act like I really am in real life, so maybe that's part of it), and also that he hangs out with deadheads and doesn't try in school. I just don't understand why that qualifies as cool - maybe because more people empathize with it? It just sucks that if you're even somewhat smart and do DECENT in school, then you get dissed for it. It's annoying... -
I'm going to Target later to get some Christmas presents for people, and then to Old Navy to hopefully get a red hoodie and a red shirt. I wanna look somewhat Christmas-y on Friday. I'm going over to my friend's house later and I'm gonna spend the night. His parents won't be home, so that oughta be fun.

I hate these flashes of depression and happiness. Everyone always tells me I'm negative, and it never occurs to anyone that maybe I'm depressed? Bleh.

Champagne For My Real Friends, Real Pain For My Sham Friends

I went to Andy's place yesterday and crashed there, then we woke up at 9:30 and walked around town for a while. We went to Blockbuster and got Catch Me If You Can, and then to Hollywood Movies and got Role Models and Eagle Eye (which didn't work, he's gonna return it). We checked in the music store to make sure they'd definitely be closed tomorrow, and then went to Taco Bell and had a pretty decent meal for $6. Then we went back to his place and watched Role Models. Then Matt called and asked if we wanted to play basketball at the park. After a lot of confusion, I got a ride and we went. It was pretty fun. We played these street players 5-on-5. They went easy on us for a couple minutes, and then they went totally insane. I couldn't shoot for my life, but I played D okay, I think. Then my mom picked me up and I went home really happy. Of course, God just had something against my happiness - I get on here and read that Bionicle's ending... -
So I went to Andy's place. Matt didn't show up, but we hung out in the Wal-Mart plaza, and that was fun even thought it was raining. We bought Tropic Thunder and watched it (forgot how funny that movie was). Fun day...and I only have to live through two days this week before Thanksgiving break.

I was over playing a card game at my friend's house yesterday...red is Matt, blue is Andreas, green is me. Three 2's. We're on threes. You got Alzheimer's or something? Nah, I'm not old. You don't have to be old to have Alzheimer's. Yeah, I heard you can get it if you been in a real bad car crash or something. Well, I ain't been in any car crashes. Not that I remember...

OK, umm...well, not exactly. But anyway. One of my girl friends told me that one of her friends said something like "You're friends with HIM?" (in reference to me, hopefully that's obvious). Well, apparently, her friend doesn't like me because of my looks. =/ And her friend definitely isn't a very pretty girl to begin with. I'M UGLY xD My standards just went down, along with my already low self-confidence. Oh, right. And I picked up my MacBook today. Our school got a check from Lowe's for 250K, and they used it to buy laptops to "further the learning process for students" or whatever. Anyway, yeah. They're pretty useless. Almost everything's blocked - thankfully not BZP, though, so I'm happy about that. Some video sites aren't blocked either, which is kinda strange.
