Self-explanatory: what is your current shirt color? If it has a design, put it in as well. If you are wearing a robe or a coat or a jacket of some kind, then you can include that. And if you are not wearing anything, please don't post at all. Move along, move along. My current shirt is maroon, slightly faded as I've had it since I was 13 or 14.

As part of my project to MoC up a line of pseudo-sets for 2017, I find myself needing to commit the ultimate heresy... PARTS MODIFICATION. AIEEEEEEEEEEEE. Simply put, I'm going to be painting several parts, both official and from Shapeways, and I need help finding the closest matches possible for the following colors from Lego's palette: Bright Red, Bright Green, Dark Azure, Black, White, Sand Yellow/Dark Tan, Silver Metallic/Flat Silver, and Warm Gold/Pearl Gold. (Yes, finding perfect matches for Lego's exact black and white is relatively low priority, but I want everything to be as close to official as possible.) I'll be using something along the lines of enamels or hobbyist's model paint, so I'd appreciate it if any recommendations could stay along those lines. I'll also be looking for a finish or sealant that matches the gloss of the official parts. Any advice would be appreciated.

I've been doing some research on most G1 collectibles, but I'm rather curious about the Rhotuka spinners; is there a guide online, depicting all the existing colors in which the spinners were available? Both BrickLink and Peeron seem to state that there are several variations of the blank silver spinner (such as flat silver, light gray AND metallic gray), but I'd never noticed any distinction between multiple silver spinners in the past. Is there any credibility to the aforementioned variations? Also, just how hard to find is Bomonga's original dark gray spinner? Thanks!

Browsing Bricklink's catalog looking at different masks, I noticed some masks have colors listed that shouldn't exist. I'm going to list them here to see if anyone can prove they do. I've been off the BIONICLE scene for years, so I don't know if anything new has been discovered. Orange Hau Medium Blue Kakama Copper Pakari (an obvious edit of this) Red Huna Blue Rau I think these are all fakes, either photographed/scanned in poor lighting or digitally manipulated with a color filter.

So, last night, I dug out a blacklight pen because I wanted to see my Pohatu set with glowy limbs (oh, don't act like you haven't done it, too. ). Anyway, When I held the pen up to him, I noticed something interesting. In normal light, the color of his mask is identical to that of his armor. However, when held up to a blacklight... It turns almost black, while the rest of his armor retains its orange-y color. Has anyone else noticed this sort of thing? Is it a different plastic or something? And does this happen with any of the other 2015 masks? (Sorry for the not-so-decent pictures. Camera's never do see what we see, sadly.)

Hello I was a member here years ago but apparently things happened while I was away and my account got deleted Either way though me's here now and wanted to share some art I did yesterday Probably ###### in comparison to others here, but oh well Just Berix and Kiina if you can't tell. Mainly wanted to do them because, though it was awesome to see the characters actually look like their toy selves after the goofy feel of the original three movies' looks, they did not really come off as...well...organics. They came off more robotic than the matoran did in the original stuff. So I wanted to show a more "armored" feel to the Bara Magnaians :happydance:Might make a comic with these two in the near future, but that all depends on how quickly I get done with my current comic about my own stuff

Hi guys,I thought i might try a different style for a change, so here goes:Dwanny Nuva: Wears the kanohi Arte (pronounced Art - Ay), the mask of dream realisation. He also wields a Pensul, a mighty weapon used for concentrating his power.First i thought i might do a toa drawing test, then it turned into a coloring test, and then it (d)evolved into this. :PThe main reason i inked it is because of the irony of a toa wielding a pencil, and so i decided to give it a rather cartoony look.Dwanny's Tips:To give something a cartoony look, try using smooth, curvy lines. Inking them also helps the "cartoon effect" along. Also, try using bright, bold colours.P.S. the colours didnt come out very well, i know. I think my scanner hates me.Criticism appreciated,-Dwanny
