Turns out I never shared this, only had it as a banner for months. Whoops. Anyway, I'm fairly happy with how this turned out, so I felt it merits its own topic, for a change. This was entirely experimtental, painted with gouache over a pencil sketch. I always liked the whole mood of the Vahki era.

Was hit with a wave of nostalgia, so here's two small scribbles, Nokama and Antroz. Looking back I see now that some set designs may or may not have influenced my art (and art style) more than I originally thought. What is interesting is that currently I seem to be leaning more towards a set-inspired style than back when I started out. Let's see if this sticks or is just a temporary trend.

Yeah i know, another art topic by me, but look, instead of the usual doughy-faced Huamnised-Bionicle or whatever, you get: Skull spiders! Skull Scorpios! Skull Slicer! Skull Basher! and one of those has a not-skull guy too because i felt like drawing him? i'unno. comments, critique, etc.

Been awhile I know... I'll try and not make it a common habit. So these artworks I did back in 2012 which got into ARTEXPRESS(Art Showcase kind-of-thing for whole State), and I wasn't able to post them online until I got them back which was the end of last year. Reason for the over-due time for them to pop on here, is I'm having issues with this new Posting "thing" BZPower has right now... ANYWAY enough talk here they are. A character from the BZPRPG, Syvra (played by Voxumo), is a toa of plant-life and deserter from the Brotherhood of Ak'rei'an. Drawn in pencil. I'm thinking of coloring the sketch and inking the details, but for now I'll leave it soft and mysterious. As always, Comments and critique are welcome! (click for larger image.) I was shooting for a birch-bark type of wrapping on the torso similar to the cloth armor used by poor samurai. Additionally, I was trying to give the extra armor a sense of either being vines or wood. ~Kughii

Another character from the BZPRPG, though the first I've drawn and didn't create myself, is Agravail "Vail" Sarsi. A member of the toa Sarsi, Vail is a headstrong firespitter with a macabre addiction to blood. Here we have Vail in the midst of a leap! Who is his mysterious foe? This is also a present for Requiem, Vail's creator and player. As always, comments and critique are welcome! I know the feet could be a lot better, but my focus was more on the pose this time around. As always, Vail is drawn by hand in pencil, inked, and then colored with more pencils.
