Taka Nuvia
(click the bats to get to the artwork; if it doesn't work here's also an ordinary link)Watercolour painting. Took me quite a while to get them to do what I want them to do. And batman just couldn't wait to get back to work...Enjoy, C&C most appreciated! Quote My art collection topic - updated! Brappy Hour
What did you paint it on, A canvas, or just paper?
Taka Nuvia
Watercolour paper. ^^ It's thicker than ordinary printer paper Quote My art collection topic - updated! (21/09/2021)
Brappy Hour
I see. Is there a specific type of paint you use? Like a brand specific to your region?
Taka Nuvia
Um... I use a Daler Rowney 'simply watercolour' set (12 tubes), but I think that's a UK brand, actually. Quote My art collection topic - updated! (21/09/2021)
Waffles
I like. You´ve utilized your medium in a very nice way. The moon radiates onto Batman and everywhere, and the subtle blending of colors in the sky is well done. I´m horrid at watercolors, so how you got those small lines that differentiate his shoulders from his arms to be so definite is beyond me.His pose could be either that of determination or he´s trying to cough up a hairball. But I guess that´s just me.
Akuna Toa of Sonics
nanananananananananananananananaBATMANAwesome job on your Batman, OP. I like the bats behind Batman making his grabbing pose or whatever he's doing with his hand. Quote Does anyone want to play the Master Chief Collection with me? Zahaki
Now I feel like playing Lego Batman....Great work Nuvia, I can never use water paint, they never work. >.>They seem to work great with you, so keep it up Taka ^^ Quote Art:Antique Bionicle Cards:Comics:The Guardians of Gevra-Nui:The Legends of Taladi-Nui:Terrible Comics:Signature Under-construction. ZippyWharrgarbl
This is awesome. I especially love the bats in the background. Great job!I find water paints so frustrating. All I seem to end up with is a messy mess and a splut of colour in the middle. You must be uber-skilled. Dr. Strangelove
Really great shading. I really like the moon behind him. My only complaint is the arm seems to be in a rather awkward position, or perhaps the body's curve seems too slim. Good work overall.
