Hiaku Toa Of Time

This is one of my favorite mocs. This is Hiaku the toa of time.http://www.brickshel...a/Hiaku/026.jpgI have no backstory or personality for this character. If anyone wants to make one up for him be my guest. I do have a list of powers though. One thing I do have. He was created as a toa. and he cannot become a turaga like other toas. Also the mask of time is permanently fused to his face. It is unable to be taken off by any force in the bionicle universePowers: can use the mask of time to is fullest extend without any trouble. Speeding up time may not have many uses in battle. It can make boring days go by faster.Instead of slowing down time He has the power to rewind back in time. Doing this greatly tires Hiaku out, so Hiaku only uses it under special circumstances. Rewinding back in time isn't the same as traveling back in time. Think of it as like rewinding a part in a movie to watch again. Except Hiaku knows what will happen and can change the outcome. Unlike most toa. Hiaku cannot perform a nova blast or absorb time or create time energy. His time based powers come from his mask not his body.He weilds the sword of time. With it he can target an object and channel his mask power to make an object or being move faster or slower in time. The effect only lasts for a short time. He can then use the power to increase the abilites of anyone he choses. This is awesome. Nice way of building the horns on the Toa Metru heads.

I agree that the horns look cool, and the way you attached them is cool. However, there are some things that could be improved. First, the color scheme - the pearl gold and keetorange look okay together, but it could've been improved by using a more contrasting color. If you want to stick with this color scheme, you should probably add more pearl gold, specifically to the legs and forearms. Also, the dark gold mask kind of throws things off, plus the Vahi exposes the dark grey of the head (though that can't be helped). The color of the wings also looks slightly out of place - it would look better if you built some custom wings using keetorange and pearl gold. Overall, the build is extremely generic - you used the Inika build and didn't even add any embellishments to it other than the wings, which are pulled straight from Hahli Mahri. In my experience, adding a single custom element to a MOC improves it instantly. If you aren't sure how to make something like that, I'm sure that plenty of the experienced MOCists on BZP (myself included) would be glad to help you out.One thing I really like, though, is the sword, though I'd say it's more of a staff than a sword. It's well-built, complex, and very cool-looking. I like how you used the silver tubing on the handle, as well.Overall, this looks pretty good, but would be greatly improved by adding some custom elements.

The horns look very neat. The color scheme is nice and consistent, and fitting of a Toa of Time. The lack of custom limits it, though, dispite being very cool-looking.

It looks good, but could benefit from some white or something. The swords and the horns are great, though.
