gali Toa Gali Mistika

Okay, just got Gali done…for the second time thanks to Stud.io corrupting the first one I made just when I started rendering shots.
So easy to see what I wanted her to be, more slender and “femanine” without going overboard. I did want her to have the original shoulder armor but sadly coulden’t find a version anywhere that works in Studio. She is taller than Tahu but shorter than Onua.
As for weapons, she has the usual, Mata hooks, Nuva blades and for the replacement to her Ghost blaster I thought it would be fitting to make it a sniper type harpoon gun.
(Also her poses are firect references to her Mata and Nuva canister art.

Nice relaxed scene. Onua chills, Tahu, squats and Gali…well Gali Meditates and well floats.

gali's propeller boots look very nice.

the mask you've used is nice, but i personally preferred the old mistika kaukau.

anyway, nice job!

 P.S. would you consider doing the phantoka?

P.P.S is gali floating a reference to mask of light?

Thanks a lot though, I must admit the Mistika Kaukau is one of the masks from that line that I actually like.

I do intend to do the phantoka Toa yeah.

I'll try both, see which one I like must. Though I must admit I do like the orange.

As for the armour, yeah it's custom. Tahu's shoulder armor is actually labeled as Nuva armor. Galis is a custom Metru armor peice.

Interesting... I should try fiddling with stud.io and its custom parts at some point, you make them work quite well.  While I do like this take on the Kaukau Nuva, I do admit I miss some bits from the original Mistika Kaukau too... maybe you could use the connection points where the wings go in to mount a scope over the left eye?  It might be a nice nod to the original while keeping the design of the custom mask.

Also man I like the sniper rifle.  Beefy-lookin' sucker, too.
