Protodite Karzahni
Unfortunately, given there's no biological reason for a relationship, love has no place in the MU. However, I'd say they're as good friends as you can possibly get without crossing that line. I wrote stories once. They were okay.
Sumiki
The romantic relationships hinted at in 2001 and 2002 were eventually retconned - that is to say, made non-canon afterwards. This is mainly in light of the revelation that all beings in the MU are biomechanical and do not reproduce. So, if you'd asked this in those years, the answers would range from "maybe" to "yes" - but now, it's a resounding "no." bonesiii
The romantic relationships hinted at in 2001 and 2002 were eventually retconned - that is to say, made non-canon afterwards. This is mainly in light of the revelation that all beings in the MU are biomechanical and do not reproduce. So, if you'd asked this in those years, the answers would range from "maybe" to "yes" - but now, it's a resounding "no."Actually, they were always biomechanical canonically and did not reproduce, and it was not retconned; those scenes were produced by the web team without consulting the story team, so were always non-canon. Though, they are viewed as canon as they are, but simply not actually implying anything except good friendship. The only canon answers even back then were "no" -- it was simply that prior to Greg's coming on here, the story team did not have a venue to make this clear (and unfortunately LEGO had a lot of poor communication issues in the early years between their own production teams). In fan fiction various interpretations are plausible; often fans do interpret them as in love, though; their biomechanical nature does not necessarily need to make romantic feelings impossible.Question answered, topic closed.
