Surge 2.0 is featured in Lego Marvel Avengers Code Red!

If you guys have Disney Plus, I recommend people who love Bionicle 2001-2010 and Hero Factory to watch this Lego special called “Lego Marvel Avengers Code Red”, coming this Friday!

In the special, there are robots that look like Mark Surge 2.0 and Tuma. I’m glad that Lego is giving Bionicle (specifically G1) and HF more attention nowadays.  
 

I tried notifying BZPower news about it through email, but they seemed to ignore me for some reason.

That's kinda cool I guess. Won't be watching the special of course but seeing Tuma is certainly quite the throw back. My guess is that it was an aesthetic choice to match the whole Lego feeling. I like that the animators chose to do this.

What a strange place to find both a BIONICLE and a Hero Factory reference.  I wonder how they chose Tuma and Surge 2.0 of all characters lol

i think it's because they might still have the 3D models of those characters from the HF animations and Glatorian adverts, and reused those for generic robot soldier characters rather than develop new designs

no Tuma is from legend reborn and the hero factory show was made by the same company
