The legendary and infamous Lime Joint

I know, I know, calling a piece as nefarious as the Lime Joint legendary is crazy. But it's such an infamous piece that it's also awesome, and that's considering I'm a MOC builder, so...For me it makes it something special, in a weird way, but it does. What do you think?

There's also the redesigned sockets from 2008 that sucked, too. Didn't matter what colour, had a whole bunch of them crack on me.

It's always wild to me that a single year (or to be honest, half year) of misproduced socket parts has lead to nearly 20 years of it being an in-joke. Makes the Bricklink prices fairly ridiculous!

Absolutely - I've even had non-socket parts from 2008-2009 break much easier on me (though this may have been due to issues with dark red and reddish brown plastic quality at the time). My dark red rahkshi legs on Skirmix snapped off right at the ball joint last time I messed with them. Luckily, it's a part that's very easy to get new ones of.
