Voltex Posted October 2, 2012 Share Posted October 2, 2012 Has anyone else read/is anyone else in the process of reading J.K. Rowling's new novel, The Casual Vacancy? If so, what are your thoughts on it? Does it match up to Harry Potter in any way in your eyes?I'm not even halfway through the book yet, but I've found it to be a very enjoyable read thus far. It hasn't quite matched Harry Potter to me, but I'm not sure J.K. will ever quite match it. Also, considering a lot of the stuff I've been reading recently has a pretty big cast, I'm not too concerned about your single criticism.
