Great Mask Of ????
Now, this is probably just me being a Conspiracy Keanu, but, what if the sockets from 2008-2010 were intentionally poor quality so as to make the newer Hero Factory sockets seem even better than they actually are? Discuss. Comics coming eventually: The Bionicles Try to Run A HouseUpcoming MOCs: Sir Lesovikk, New Tokotoru.Current MOCs: ROTF Ravage.Dead MOCs: The Tokotoru, this fire monster, this turtle. This topic. Love it and cherish it. Do it for the lulz.
Kumata
You are indeed being a Conspiracy Keanu (whatever that is) because it's an extremely bad move for a company to release anything that is of bad quality. Lego prides itself on producing a safe and reliable toy, and there's no way they'd deliberately undermine that by releasing toys featuring substandard plastic that can break and subsequently cause injuries/be swallowed, etc. Edited October 9, 2012 by Kumata
Dralcax
They just cut costs too much when Bionicle stopped being profitable.
Bfahome
More like they tried to make the sockets less likely to break by thinning them out to let them bend easier or something. Didn't really work out at all, though.I highly doubt they'd give us two years of poor sockets just to make the new sockets seem better; why not just release the better ones right away? ~garnira returns~
While I wish I could point at hero factory and yell "treason!", I can't. It seems too hard to believe. I doubt lego would do something like that. "Copy and paste me into your sig! The shadows command you!" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)#tumaislove, tumaislife
