Toa Smoke Monster
For some strange reason, I can't edit my posts. I first noticed it when I was trying to correct a typo in a post I made. When I clicked the 'save change' button, this message popped up: 'TypeError: CKEDITOR is undefined.' Can anyone explained to me what this means? Edited October 16, 2011 by The Smoke Monster Everyone is one choice away from being the bad guy in another person's story. The Guy Who Came Back
Could you post a screenshot? It could possibly be a problem with some coding if you used any, or as the message tells us there is something wrong with the forum's Javascript. Canama
I actually changed browsers after getting that error, and it worked. I was using Camino, and I would get that error (It still happens, I just checked). I changed to Safari and now I can edit things just fine. -Canama man remember when no one would dream of making a forum site without signatures that was tight
Toa Smoke Monster
Sorry, I really don't know how to post screenshots. And I don't think that it has to do with coding. All I know that is when I click 'save changes,' a small box pops up and gives me that message. But on the top of this box, it says 'Message from webpage.' I probably should've put that in the first post. Sorry about that. Would it mean that its from BZP itself, or something else? P.S. Also, before anyone asks, I have never had this problem before. The editing feature worked fine for me before the forums went down. I would say that maybe its the new forum layout that is causing this, but I've seen other members who edited their posts since the forums came back so I don't think it's that. I don't know what else it could be though. Everyone is one choice away from being the bad guy in another person's story.
The Guy Who Came Back
That means it's from BZP itself, probably another bug that needs to be worked out by the admins.

Reznas
Also, if you're wondering how to post screenshots, all you have to do is press the Alt Button + the Print Button and then paste it into paint or some other photo editing program. After that, just upload the screenshot onto the web and put it on here. -Rez
Toa Smoke Monster
Clearing your history should fix this problem, as it did when I encountered this a while back. I hope you don't mind me asking, but what do you mean by 'clearing my history?' Everyone is one choice away from being the bad guy in another person's story. Reznas
Clearing your history should fix this problem, as it did when I encountered this a while back. I hope you don't mind me asking, but what do you mean by 'clearing my history?' It depends on the brower you use. If you use Mozilla Firefox, just click the Tools button on the top toolbar and then click "Clear Recent History". There should be an option like that in other browsers as well. Clearing your history will delete some of your browsing history. Or all, depending on if you're deleting it all, or some of it. -Rez Edited October 16, 2011 by .:Reznas:. Velox
For Camino: Camino has made it very easy to clear your browsing history. To do so, select Go from the top menu, and then Clear History from the drop-down list From some website the almighty Google spewed out when I searched for it. Riglax
'TypeError:CKEDITOR' - in simpler terms, the WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) text editor the software uses to edit posts has failed; it's not your problem, and it's an issue the admins should look into. It depends on the brower you use. If you use Mozilla Firefox, just click the Tools button on the top toolbar and then click "Clear Recent History". There should be an option like that in other browsers as well. Clearing your history will delete some of your browsing history. Or all, depending on if you're deleting it all, or some of it. In other terms, a record that the browser uses of the webpages you've visited is deleted.
