Besides this is probably the most original idea I've seen for a costume in a long time

 

Lol. I got one comment of "Finally! There's something interesting in the newspaper!" which was slightly awkward, but made me giggle at the same time.

Yep! My school had a costume contest and first prize was a bike. Well-worth those couple of weeks working on that dress in between classes and trying to even figure out how to make a dress in the first place.

This totally reminds me of that Garfield strip where Jon makes a newspaper suit which melts off in the rain. XD

 

Ha! I remember that one. I was kind of worried that it would rain, and even though it's not a long walk from my dorm to our dining area, that would have not been fun (but, luckily it didn't).
