Portal - #3

The third box art of the day is none other than the wonderlicious game Portal, with a very simple piece of art used that defines the game perfectly. The lines give it depth, making it seem as if this figure is falling into the portal below, and we have faded Aperture Science hazard warnings in the background. The one question I have about this is about why they made this figure male when the game stars a female, but it doesn't really matter.

Boxart of the Day #2

The second box art to be given the honor on this blog is none other than Red vs. Blue: The Recollection Boxset, which gives us a nice feel of tone, action and several characters without feeling cluttered. Click the thumbnail to see more.

As a side note, I was actually going to put Far Cry 3 up here, but I'm not entirely certain that the box art for that is appropriate for BZPower.

Boxart of the Day #1

Been feeling like starting some silly daily blog thing for awhile now, and figured I might as well shove video games and movies in too. That said, the very first box art of the day is...

Mario Party 9.
Although a little over saturated, I really enjoy the Super Mario Galaxy style glow everything has, and I also appreciate how many characters they stuffed into it while keeping the box action packed but not cluttered. Good on you, Nintendo. Now give us a boxart this good for the next Smash Bros.

The Best Video Game of All Time

Definitely Superman 64. B-)
I've been playing it like, nonstop the past two weeks. I just can't get enough of it! Whoever designed this is a genius.

Who needs Portal?

BZPCraft #10

Would anyone like to team up with me for this one? :P I feel like it would be more fun for me if I did so, and I might live longer. Maybe.

There Goes My Exploring Time

Oh white list, I will get my revenge someday... someday soon...

Well, probably not, but you will rue this day! Somehow! I will find a way to make it happen! I will.. I will... hmm... I will add you to my lasagna and eat you. There.

Bzpcraft 9

I just looked at the list and realized what I've done to myself.

Bzpcraft 8

Posted by Agnes Oblige , in Video Games, BZPower Jul 01 2012 · 82 views

Considering it was my first time, I wasn't surprised when MI just came out of nowhere and killed me. xD Third one dead out of eight isn't that bad, right? Right?

Anyway, I was never going to win anyway- all I'd found was iron, and not much, while everyone else seemed to be finding diamonds left and right.

Still lots of fun though- unfortunately, it looks like I'll have to wait until after summer to play in another.

Why, Minecraft, Why?!

Posted by Agnes Oblige , in Video Games Jun 29 2012 · 63 views

Okay, so up until this point nobody (and I mean nobody) that I've seen or heard attempting to explain how to download the weekly snapshots and those sorts of things has been able to do it in a way that I could understand.

So today, finally, Unit#phntk#1 (henceforth known on this blog as "Unit") was the first person to successfully make me understand the process. As a result, I now have the snapshot.

But then Minecraft decides "Wait just a second there ibrow... you think you're just gonna waltz in here almost a year late and expect me to work through this with you?! No way, buddy boy! Imma just freeze your loading screen, buddy! Say goodbye to that Mojang logo!"

So at the moment, I still cannot play the snapshot. Sigh.

And now it works! Time to start flipping back and forth between versions!

Cleanup Duty

My sidebars match up better now, and the pictures on the left look better too. I almost changed the Pyro one to something... else... but decided he could stay like that for now.
