Well I mean, Lucario had a unique gimmick in Brawl that has apparently been reworked to work better in Kerfuffle. It wouldn't make sense to take your only berserker and replace him with another generic fighter like Mewthree.

That's a good point; I am looking forward to seeing how the revamp works.

If I had to guess, either they increased the damage output/input ratio, or boosted secondary effects on attacks as he takes more blows. That's what makes the most sens to me, at least.

I bet the final smash will be Mega Lucario. Which would be awesome.

Would be a better final than Aura Beam/Storm (whichever it was called.) Unless it turns more quickly in this new version, it's still a kinda useless Final Smash.
