This might just be my favorite one yet, VB. I think the rough style kind of fits Bitil ... plus he's very beetle-like.

Are you aware of the powers of the smudge tool? Though I have only slight experience in using a tablet in GIMP, the smudge tool was a big discovery fro me.

He's wearing a jacket, even. He's just that classy.

 

Also @ 5x5, I've never liked using the smudge tool. I feel it makes everything look sloppy and it

mixes colours in ways that make them look like someone emptied a glass of water on them.

I realize it can be useful when trying to create certain effects, but it just doesn't work with my style.

This is the best one, easily.
