BZPower's rules on flaming are very specific, and rerouting it to get it out of the way temporarily doesn't fix the problem.

While I don't watch/read Bleach, that kind of fight does seem exhausting. Though it could possibly be justified if they have a REALLY CLEVER way of ending the fight for good that they're saving up for the end...

As for your Bionicle community-related complaints... I don't think there's much to be done about it. I've tried positivity. I've tried snark. And realistically, there's no way to limit complaining to one or a few topics without it having a chilling effect on discussion in general. The best that can be done is trying to keep topics unrelated to Bionicle G1 focused and on-message so that they don't devolve into a G2 hate-fest (and the best way to do this varies—sometimes refutations are in order but often it's just a matter of ignoring the most persistent whiners).

I would love that sort of resolution, but I've lost all faith that Bleach is capable of such a thing

 

And yeah, you're probably right, I just get an urge to comment on it every now and then.  It's frustrating.  But, I'd better get used to it--Genwunners are never going to go away.

I'm kinda only into Bonkles these days for the Lewa sets.

I mean, as far as cleaning product go, I think bleach is a bit overrated.  You're probably just better to use specialist detergent or just not buy white clothes.
