Have you gotten a full set? If so, do you think you could put up a good comparison shot between the two yellows?

I just looked again at the krana checklist: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/CubeMaster/Checklists/all_krana.png The pahrak-va krana are tan, right? So that's not it... What's so weird is why does nobody know about this? Normally stuff like this is either common knowlege, or doesn't exist. So why is it like some secret? :/

Not actively trying to get them, but at the very least collecting passively, and avoiding repeats. And working out the best stand. I figure if I'm gonna do it, I better do it right. So yeah. I've certainly heard of the different purples, but gata is the only person I can find who says that there's different yellows. (though it looks like raptor agrees.) Is there any reference or documentation for this? I couldn't find any, and I found it odd that no krana checklists I found have the different yellow listed.

Well since the other part of marketplace got closed down, I assume I'm allowed to talk about collecting stuff here? Dunno. There's probably a better place. Gata says that there's both "light yellow" and "dark yellow" krana, but neither are considered misprints. I can't find any other info on the topic. Anyone?

Nah, there's very few sets that I actually want as sets at this point, and I don't really wanna trade rares for sets.

Where did Banjax use that upper arm techniqe? I have the same EXACT design on a moc right now, and I've never seen him use it :I EDIT: nvm, found it here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/80764700@N03/9163909942/ It's a pretty common technique tbh. Clark certainly wasn't the first to do it. But sweet moc. I don't quite like the trans orange, since there's so little of it, and I think that a black/dark red color scheme needs a third, different color to add contrast, but you made a nice and flexible moc with great shape. Arms could be longer though.

Just noticed this auction on ebay. Not a very good deal, but the funniest part about it is the guy apparently was never taught how to count to six! XD Twice he states that the auction is for five boxes: But lists six, and has pictures of six XD Few masks are worth over $1, and you can buy the mask case for $3. (masks likely over $1: off colors kakamas, haus, hau nuvas, silver nuvas, infected) But if you got silver nuvas (besides miru, some guy found hundreds of them and now they're worth little), then you could probably make quite a bit. Unless most of the sets are complete (i.e all the haus, all the kaukaus, etc), it's not a fantastic deal. 1 + 17 + 3 + 20-something isn't 70. What others did you get? Pretty sweet deal! I'm surprised it didn't go higher!

Oh yeah, forgot those were Spielberg sets! Name the last set line based on a movie that was a "kid's movie". Star wars episode 3: THAT'S violence. Go complain about that.

Oh! I thought for some reason that they made all 8, and that the sterling silver only came as xa. Odd that they were making the VMKK, ran out of time, and decided to only make the one. It was probably faster. I guess it also shows how quickly they throw together those comics to supplement the sets and promos!

A prototype set would be fun to have at some point, just something cool for my shelf, but TBH I'd want it to be one of my favorite sets, and I wasn't into bionicle until after 2001 It would be cool to have a prototype barraki though. I'm a mocist more than a collector, yet still both. Set prototypes don't interest me, since they don't offer significant advantages for moccing. Prototype masks and such are a possibilty. But these krana are worth more than that I think. :I I bought them off ebay to make an easy profit, and as long as I sell at least 2 for cash, I WILL make a profit, so I can only be a little bit lenient.

I recently got 5 VMKK, and they're worth too much for me to want to keep all of them. I don't plan to complete a set either, because it just costs too much. 6 is almost deserving of my vote just for the name Kinda surprised people haven't been blind voting for the dragon just because it's big and a dragon! I don't like the complete lack of color scheming/blocking on the dragon despite its good shaping, so I had to vote for Ballom!
