OOC:Right now, they can't leave the planet of course since I have built no carriers. Really they are just being stored in surface hangers. Fighters are cheap, expendable and incredibly useful to make when you have nothing for a planet to do for a day. Right now they are employed as a defensive force.

Well, here is a basic summary. There is more, but I'll post that some other time.

Well, let me give an example. Darkness.All of the spirits and personifications of forces are categorized as either Natures or Things, a Thing being a subsidiary servant to a Nature. The Nature of Darkness was the first Nature in existence, and serves the Notion. The Notion is an equivalent to Illuvatar from Tolkien or god in religions today, in that it is the creative intelligence. The Nature of Darkness exists outside of his creation, and always has the power to overthrow the Notion and seize power over existence, and yet he does not, due to his immense loyalty.

Well, I have decided to do something a bit unusual for me. I am writing a mythos. That is, a collection of myths and stories and such that create a world, like the Tolkien mythos or Cthulhu mythos. In it, I have decided on three things that I want to be:1, Humans are not important in the grand scheme of things.2, All spirits and manifestations of forces are in no way human.3, Things normally thought evil are not evil, some things we think are good I portray as evil.I'll post a summary later.

OOC:IC: [28-3, Abjiost. Assembly of the Undertaking]The chamber was spherical, and roughly as wide as a football field. The top hemisphere was a plethora of graphs, charts and data that were opened and closed across a great holographic screen, a dome holding the collective knowledge of an entire race. In the bottom half were hundreds of alcoves built into the side of the sphere, each with a prominent intellectual politician or head of a certain science. The concentrated genius of that one room was greater than the sum of the entire city's intellect outside of the dome. In the center was the brainchild of the Lopec, the very soul of their passion for knowledge - Master of Mind Lojekek. Old beyond remembering, he was both the elected leader of the race and the most intelligent and successful scientist the Lopec have ever known. It was he who annihilated the Quarter Pox, he who created a special EMP pulse that disabled the weapons of the former Conglomerate long enough for them to be seized and destroyed, bringing peace to the world. He developed the concepts behind FTL speed, although it would be others that would apply and complete it.He was present, but not as himself. In his place stood a mechanical robotic representation of a Lopec, with the high and broad carapace, hallowed head and many dangling opposadendrites, all rendered in metal. His actual body was located in another facility on the other side of the planet: a special chamber and vat that kept him alive throughout the ages. He was present in that he had direct control over the body of the robot, and could speak through it - for he had long lost the ability to speak with his own throat. The technology was imperfect, there were occasional glitches, but in general Lojekek had complete control."I appear as personification; mind out of body." Though he spoke through the machine, it had been programmed to sound exactly like he did in ages long past: with an air of infinity and understanding about his baritone words. "The Assembly of the Undertaking will convene. Present inquiry, assertion."The leaders of the Regional Assembly from the four other worlds were present as well, and it was the Scholar of Mind from Homsej that spoke."I appear as Scholar of Mind, Hokenj, of the Third Star Homsej. I present assertion, then inquiry. We have received the plans for the Metek fighter, and it is to my mind known just now that it is underway in understanding and construction." His six cyan eyes, arranged in a hexagon across his bland face, narrowed. "That is assertion. I now present inquiry. What is the intention of the Master of Mind Lojekek, in regard to the four Regional Assemblies of the Second to Fifth Stars? Are we to be dissolved, and our independence cast aside?""Union is power. There must be one voice, one head to the body of the race. There may still be six eyes, and there are already many opposadendrites at work in the Great Undertaking. The Regional Assemblies were made in the time of the disaster, but the disaster is gone. Thus, they are no longer needed, for now we may connect and become whole again.""Then you have made it clear your position. I contest, for in independence each of the Five Stars took the Great Undertaking to their own path, and it is only now that we share our understanding. Independence created this, it will create more.""We are no longer independent from another. The Burnspace is dissolved, we are united again by choice or not. There will still be the Regional Scholar, appointed by this Assembly, that will oversee each Star.""But that is not independence, reverent one. One who can give may take in equal amount, and you cannot piece together what was broken 20 of our years ago. I do not speak alone, my people feel that they are separate, for they were born as such. Turmoil is the child to injustice, and I will see that there will not be an injustice to give birth to it."Lojekek was deeply troubled by this. He did not, could not understand what had become of the Homsej Scholar of Mind, that he would go so far as to hint at disorder.War must be avoided at all costs. Yet, the Great Undertaking requires unity, and we cannot abandon that, for we would be purposeless."The Regional Assemblies will stand, though we will discuss direct terms at a later time. I hope you do not wish to unify the race through disorder and chaos: that is the providence of the past era.""Then you will have to wait and see what I intend." With that, Hokenj turned and left, along with the other elect of Homsej.Disunion was on the horizon, and Lojekek recognized it from times he thought long gone.

Yes, he would have to do some repairs once they came back into the hanger.An assistant came, presenting a build report. Grasping for it with a grey opposadendrite, Kobuut brought it before his eyes and read. The homeworld, specifically the Assembly of the Undertaking, had ordered a squad of 10 Metek class fighters to be built. Finishing, he pressed another opposadendrite onto the glowing screen, and handed it back to the assistant. Accepting the signature of the Chief of Fleet Construction, the assistant left for the construction hangar.It had been mere weeks since the reunification of the Five Stars, and Kobuut knew that some resented the new government having presiding authority over the Regional Assembly. Many of those living now had not been alive before the Burnspace sphere came to be, and so had never been to Abjiost or any of the other three. Kobuut new that there were whispers of disunion from the Assembly on Abjiost, even of rebellion. This was why he had risked the show that was going on right now: to show the citizens of Homsej that they were capable of construction and invention just as much, if not more, than the other four planets. It wasn't even his problem: the Regional Assembly should have caught on and ordered him to do it. But Kobuut felt that something had to be done to allay distrust directed to the homeworld.

There was great rejoice across the five stars, cheering an ululations that echoed across the spaces between them. For, after 20 years of utter isolation, the great sphere of Burnspace that had surrounded the five stars inhabited by the Lopec had, without warning, vanished as ash in cosmic wind.It was fortunate that each of the four worlds had become self-sustaining and even exporting materials before the sphere had taken shape, for now that the five were united once more the Great Undertaking could be resumed. It was the destiny of the Lopec to inherit the beat of the universe's heart, and understand all that reality had made exist. This desire, this passion reverberated through every single one of their opposadendrites, itching to reach for tools to create and experiment and understand.And so, when the Burnspace subsided, the signals and messages that connected the five worlds spread ever outward, expanding to infinity and across the stars. Simplified explanation:An atom is made up of electrons, protons and neutrons. Electrons have a negative charge and can move freely; protons have a positive charge and stay in the nucleus; neutrons have no charge and stay in the nucleus.Like charges repel, opposite charges attract.In a magnet, electrons have been shifted to one end (negative charge), leaving more protons at the other (positive charge).If that's the case, then why is gold, an excellent conducter, also non-magnetic?You do know that the electromagnetic force is the unification of the electric force and the magnetic force, right? Just because something easily allows electrons to flow through it does not mean that it itself is magnetic.

One of the current theories for gravity, is that it is an exchange of molecular particles. The more mass, the more particles being shared, and thus a stronger attraction. However we have yet to actually find one of those particles, so we can't know for sure.As an interesting side note, some scientists think that this particle exchange is actually a much weaker version of the Strong Nuclear Force. Which, if true, would bring the total number of natural forces down to three.Two. The electromagnetic force and the weak force are known to be one and the same, the electroweak force.It is also predicted that the strong force and the electroweak force will unify at an incredibly high energy level, and so if what you say is true then the total forces in the universe is one.
