Hapori Tohu
We couldn't take pictures of them during Toy Fair, but Canadian retailer Indigo has posted listings for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from the upcoming movie on their website. You can check out 79115 Turtle Van Takedown, 79116 Big Rig Snow Getaway, and 79117 Turtle Lair Invasion (although the image is wrong for this one). I'm still not a fan of the minifigs, but the rest of the sets seem like they might be pretty cool. The movie is still four months away, so it will probably be a bit before they're available. At least now you can see them! View the full article Quote News Forums Q&A

Toa Smoke Monster
The Turtle minifigs in the Lair Invasion set look cool. The ones in the other sets on the other hand....they aren't the best looking minifigs in the world to say the least. But they still look better than the movie versions of them in the latest trailer. xccj
These seem to be the opposite of last year's Turtle sets; the minifigures are atrocious, but the set designs are rather good. However, the vehicles don't look dissimilar to many City contractions, and from a glance it doesn’t look like they came with a ton of new pieces in new colors (there’s olive green but it appears to be limited to roof slopes and tiles) so they’re still not the most appealing sets in my eyes. But at least they look decent this time around, because I thought last years were downright awful. But last year’s minifigures were great, so I suppose you had to buy those sets for the figs and these sets for the vehicles. (Not that I’m a Turtle connoisseur, so maybe these will appeal more to a targeted audience?) Sumiki
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are pretty much the weirdest concept for a superhero team. In any event, these sets actually look pretty nice. I won't get any of them, but I'm interested in how folks will use the parts. Quote avatar by Lady Kopaka
Pomegranate
The turtle minifigs look better than Michael Bay's CG counterparts The vehicles looks a bit bland to me 'cause they're so compact and colorless, but that Lair set looks really fun, especially the skateboards and the colors and all. I'm looking forward to seeing some commercials for these or something, they tend to bring a bit more life to the sets and I like to see the features in action. Quote .
