Phovos
Well, it's January. For most people, it'll be time to purchase the new Bionicle sets. But I'm worried that I won't be able to get ANY of the new sets until August. Why? Because the summer sets for Ninjago, Legends of Chima and Hero Factory for 2014 have only just become available locally. Is anyone else worried about availability or anything or is this just the small islander in me talking? Where do you recommend buying sets online? Shipping to Cyprus can get expensive and I'm not in the mood to wait until summer or drive 100km to get Pohatu and Kopaka. (Also, feel free to move this if it's in the wrong forum.) Rider Of Spiders
I feel you. Finland is pretty close to Denmark, but funnily enough, we have to wait to Q2 in the worst case considering winter waves. I saw the first Barraki in April 2007, for example. I'm ready to hang on until March, if they're not available by then, I'll order them online. Good luck everyone. 1 Quote "Onua gazes upon the Earth and sees riches. UngluedBike
Shipping is free from Lego.com if you plan on ordering all he sets. Phovos
I'm looking now, shipping for me is £4, or about €6. I'm willing to wait until April (when my birthday is) but if not, I'll bite the bullet and order online. Quote Click here to read The Bohrok-Kal's Ramblings! Danska: Shadow Master
Does LEGO.com have free shipping over a certain amount in your area? The threshold tends to be quite high, but if you're buying a few sets it's usually pretty each to reach as LEGO can be a tad pricey. If not, then if you buy a few of the sets at once, an extra £4/€6 isn't that much more? Bit of a pain if you only want to get one or two, though. Quote Click on them to build them yourself! Xarok
That always is a pain. I remember having to wait until around after the Mask of Light came out before the Rakshi were available in my area. After a while I would just rely on buying the new sets on the Lego online shop. Quote -BE EXCELLENT TO EACH OTHER-

Munty
You know you could always have someone else buy these sets for you from Lego.com (for the free shipping) and then ship them all onto you for whatever the extra cost is... Of course I highly doubt that would work out cheaper than just buying online yourself. £4 shipping is NOT a lot and if it's either that or waiting 3 months I know what I would do. It's not like you can't save £4 in 3 months after all... Often times they used a different carrier than the official mail carrier which leads to less chance of damages, but costs more.
Toa of Ice - 1987
Iceland also has to deal with excessive waiting sometimes, like till march or may for the first part of the year sets although we are practically next door neighbours to Denmark although our country is located a little higher north. bioniclepluslotr
Tbh, the sets aren't all that innovative. They're pretty similar to the other CCBS sets, except with gear functions. I think the HF IfB sets have a little more complex build to them. Edited January 29, 2015 by bioniclepluslotr
Makuta_of_Oz
That's completely normal if you live in Australia. We didn't get Toa Ignika until August 2008, the 2004 Matoran until early 2005, the 2003 Matoran until 2004, and Toa Lhikan & Kikanalo until ~2006, PLUS we never got Lesovikk at all! The 2015 sets failed to release here on January 1 and we're STILL waiting, so I too expect Australia to get them in August, assuming we get them at all. I've already got all of them because I ordered the day they were first put on our Lego Shop, which was the 2nd/3rd of January. Also, I'm pretty sure that Lesovikk was sold here. I remember that my older brother got him at one of our local stores. All of the other sets after 2004 I can agree on. The others before that I don't remember anything about when it comes to the release dates.

Australia was never told of any other date until recently, by which time the promise of the whole world getting it at the same time was broken. Am I right in saying money from buying them online goes to either America or Denmark? If so then that's bad for the economies of countries that didn't get them on January 1, as it would send our money overseas. Oh yeah, didn't someone or something say that the new wave was coming as a worldwide launch. (I'm actually serious) I spent the middle of December looking for the sets, but it was around the 23rd of December that I got my Lego Club magazine and catalogue that revealed the shocking information.
