Hapori Tohu
I never thought I'd be writing those words in the title, but this weekend it's true. BrickUniverse Dallas is taking place at the Irving Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday, November 14th and 15th. There will be a ton of LEGO-related activities for people of all ages, including caricatures and airbrush tattoos by BZPower's very own InnerRayg. There will be a ton of creations on display from BZPower members and notable talented builders like Nannan Zhang. The event will be open to the public from 10 AM to 4 PM, so make sure you come on by and sign the BZPower guestbook! Toa Smoke Monster
I knew the center of the universe was somewhere in Texas. Anyways, I won't be able to make it to this, since I live too far away and have to work this weekend. But I hope that those that do go will have a lot of fun! Zeb
Just got back from the Irving Convention Center... This was my first Lego convention, and it was great! There were a lot of really impressive and creative models there, and I spotted some familiar creations in the BZPower section, as well as some really neat ones I'd never seen before. Overall it was a really great day full of really great Lego creations. I hope to return in the future, and/or go to more Lego conventions in the future as well. Toaraga
And a good time was had by all. Huzzah. Personally I don't know that I want to do constant conventions, and I don't know how some people do all the different ones across the country. (I heard so many different names in conversations that I don't even remember the names or places.) But I'm glad this one was in my proverbial backyard, and I got to be a part of it. I liked being able to see all the MOCs and to display my own MOCs in person, and I liked interacting with the different people. Let's do it again some time. ©1984-2015 Toaraga EAM 2 Quote COT Official Topics | Trade References | COT RPG Guidelines | Truth | A Naming Day Carol | Stars Review The trouble with the status quo is that it keeps changing."College dropout, Shego: they let me in; I let myself out." -Dr. Drakken No great feat was ever accomplished by those who gave into fear or caved under pressure.
