Iver
I'm not sure where else to put this. I've been replicating the left arm of Onua, Master of Earth. I'm using a student version of Rhino CAD 5. These are all boot-leg quality, of course. Some features, such as the fingers on part 93575 are too small for my calipers to measure. I'm looking for some feedback and advice.93575https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxyVvuEhpQ0XV1M5ZjdlRHl2SXM/view?usp=sharingOnua's hand. All the little ridges and fingers are really small, so I couldn't replicate them with my calipers.90640https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxyVvuEhpQ0XdFF6dFBDc3prdm8/view?usp=sharingA piece of armor cladding. Unfinished, as I still need to put in the pin and ball joint connectors. My biggest peeve though, is that it's made of three polysurfaces, and I can't get them to union. Any help?90609https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxyVvuEhpQ0XWE5UMC0xUW5qX0E/view?usp=sharingA "bone". The part I'm most pleased with. It is the best replication I have done so far.90617https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxyVvuEhpQ0XSGxwX004VnFZb1U/view?usp=sharingAnother bone. Was doing pretty well, until I got to the ball joint. Not really sure what to do from here. Edited September 8, 2016 by Jovan2 1 Quote "You humans are absurd, Rook. Furious when you're not in control, terrified when you are. Pull it together." Iver
Strange. It's worked for me. The link will bring you to a page that says "No preview is available", and a download link. You'll need a program that reads .3dm files to open it. Is that what's happening? Quote "You humans are absurd, Rook. Furious when you're not in control, terrified when you are. Pull it together." Petewa
Perhaps try using an actual photo hosting site. Quote Mataru Nui, an Interactive Adventure
Mr. Cod
Perhaps try using an actual photo hosting site. They're not images, they're the actual CAD files. Though I do admit having a couple screenshots would be nice so you don't have to open up AutoCAD every time to look at them.
Iver
Making some photos now. Albeit the major issues I have are only really observable in the file.In the same order as above:93575906409060990617 This one is "ghosted" because it looks pretty. 1 Quote "You humans are absurd, Rook. Katanga
I don't have any idea what CAD is, but these are fairly accurate recreations of CCBS parts. Though your shell piece is missing the pin holes used for clipping on armor. It's sort of an important part of the piece and it looks odd without it. Quote My Bionicle Tumblr. It is used to create everything from architecture to automobiles to toys.I realize what it is missing from the model. Modelling it was harder than expected, but the missing pinholes isn't the worst part. The model of part 90640 is not one solid part, but three. For some reason, they are unwilling to unite into a single solid. I posted it here with the hope that someone would be able to help me with that. Quote "You humans are absurd, Rook.
