I just got accepted into graduate school. My dream program. I feel excited, and I also feel guilty for feeling excited because I'm also still mourning. None of this makes sense.

    Welcome to my comic series.

I have approval from Dark709 to use his emotes.

Credit to Dark707 for his Chimoru Omega kit. I use mainly that kit, I sprite the rest myself.

This is bzp's first blog comic. I will be hosting games, contests and extras in it, now that my series isn't confined to a topic.

I try to keep the comics coming, but if I have not updated any comics for about a week of two, I'm probably swamped with homework, or not able to use my computer.

Even though this is in a blog, I still follow Bzp's rules and guidelines, what is okay, what is not okay, etc.

    Without futher blatherings...

    Form:

    1. Sprite: (I will accept any kit. Please link.)

    2. Personalities: (Please be as detailed as possible.)

    3. What Kind of Comic You'd Like to GS in: (one-panel, mini-series, etc.)

If no kit is linked, I will make your character myself.

ATTENTION: If You Want To Be A GS, Please PM Me.

If I have asked you to be a guest star, the form is not needed, although a sprite sheet is.

I will not be taking Co-Authors.

Seeing as I've recieved a few PMs from people who wanted to co-author my comic series.

Also, noting this pinned topic, which includes co-authoring, should be kept un-spammy.

If I had a co-author, it is likely that would result in, at least, some spam.

    My reasons for rejection;

    1. Some co-authors are lazy. I dislike having to give credit to people who barely did anything.
    2. Some co-authors make like, five comics a day, but the comics aren't any good.
    3. Some co-authors are too random, comics should make some sense.
    4. Some co-authors take all the credit.
    5. Some co-authors spam-up the topic (or blog).
These are my reasons. If you want to try and pass as a co-author, you may, but 9.9/10 times you won't make it. ;)

Pretty good. I like the classic white-background black-panel layout. You've got some talent...I especially liked the part with Hapori Tohu.

I went for a fleeting glance today and what did I find? A little red box and on it, said hay. This red box was remarkable by every means and yet somehow unremarkable by my own and it had no seam upon it which I took to be odd at first but then gradually accepted, as though it were some collegiate fact to be memorised and taken down and ripped apart and flourished at the streets. Yet somehow...somehow...

Somehow the box was opened, merely by its thoughts, and when I saw it, I said hay.

When it heard my nondialogue, it replied back in the words of its ancestor and the pineapple that lay inside it said unto me, "Welp, this is over now. Where to next?"

Suddenly, though, the pineapple was a coconut and inside this coconut was a small young man named Phil but this was not a man, but a woman who looked like a man. Phil the Wo-man said to me, "Hello. My name is Henry."

Then strawberries fell from the sky! As we all know, the pastpresentfuture is strangely devoid of strawberries. Theories abound! Castles o'er there? The bird went Falcon! And then went away.

The pineapple return! It hovered o'er Ear and said to it, "Pick your corn, for it is ripedone!"

A slight man called Martha Stewart then went out to the field to pick a peck of pickled posies with a woman called Peter Pan.

"Panic!" said the man. "At the disco! Panic!"

  9. Well, as most of you know today is fathers day, and such being so I just wanted to tribute the (few) dads out there in the BZComune for being so great to everyone and just being plain awsome. And, what do you think, should fathers day have some speacial colors? perhaps Dark Blue and Brown? And speacking of colors... I have noticed that in the rich text editor section there are many different color choices.... Here is a list.

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Nice spectrum eh? I like to use as many colors possible, just check out my sig, I don't think I ever used black...

Is anyone going to be driving up to Brickfair and passing through Georgia/Tennessee/South Carolina? If you're driving to Brickfair from/through the aforementioned states, ahve space in your car, and are willing to take a fellow BZPer some of the way to/from Brickfair, send me a PM and we can talk about splitting gas costs and such.

I can't be completely certain yet whether or not I can make it ('cause of monies) but I should know by the end of June.

    Hello again,

Minor news, but I felt it was time for an update. With the end of the year rapidly approaching its become time to look forward onto the next, and the change it will bring. Or more importantly, the change that we ourselves will bring. As such, I've decided to start using this blog exclusively for MOCing news - that being what I'm working on, ideas and maybe even a contest or two. All old irrelevant entries were removed, and I've made some small changes to the looks of this blog.

Along with this change, I've updated my Brickshelf somewhat - all much in the same fashion; changed descriptions and some removals. Those with a sharp eye will also notice the addition of a new, empty folder. When I will fill it up with pictures is still uncertain, as I'm still waiting on a truckload of pieces I ordered to finish the creation. Not guaranteeing that it will be done quickly even if the pieces arrive tomorrow or so. It'll be done when it's done.

  14. Yeah, if I'm awake at midnight, I always say "It's tomorrow!" Idk why... Oh and now that it's tomorrow, akar, kiina, and gelu are supposed to come in the mail today. :)

  15. As something of a realist, I knew going into this year that fangirl and fanboy pipe dreams of "The Return of BIONICLE" for the 20th anniversary was crazy talk. As much as I love the original run of BIONICLE from 2001 to 2010, there was no way in Karzahni that LEGO was going to revive the theme just for an anniversary year. It's a major one, but still. BIONICLE is done. No need to "continue" the story or reboot it (2015 and 2016 showed how poorly the latter went).

My prognostication was we'd likely get something like a GWP or one-off trinket by the summer to commemorate the worldwide release of BIONICLE (Europe had the Toa and Turaga from the start of 2001, but the US and Canadian markets didn't see BIONICLE sets on shelves until July). On the lower end, I figured we might be lucky to see prints of, say, Kanohi masks on minifigure torsos scattered throughout CITY sets or sets from another theme.

Then I found out about this "20 Years of LEGO Harry Potter" nonsense. Wow, I mean, I know LEGO loves money (and I write that realistically, with no chagrin or sarcasm), but Harry Potter is beyond a cash grab at this point. Especially considering several years went by when LEGO didn't produce a single Harry Potter anything. Why celebrate that, of all LEGO themes?

But that's not even why I'm mad. It was the sight of a sticker on a piece in one of these anniversary sets that really spelled it out for me. In what looks like a star chart of constellations in whatever weird, transphobic, "magic" universe Harry Potter is set in, one of the designers snuck in a constellation that forms the shape of the Kanohi Hau, a symbol of BIONICLE as a whole.

Great. Bravo. Slow clap. See that BIONICLE fans???? BIONICLE LIVES!!! Happy 20th anniversary! Watch my YouTube video to see how LEGO CELEBRATES BIONICLE - SECRET COMEBACK?!?!?

Blood from a (Makoki) stone, people. I kept my expectations in check, but now, after seeing this "tribute" in one of the new Harry Potter sets, I'm beginning to wonder if I was the foolish BIONICLE fan too optimistic for LEGO to pay respects to one of the greatest themes they ever produced? Is this all we're getting for acknowledgment of BIONICLE's 20th anniversary? Or is there a leak to come of something just a tad more substantial?

We can only hope. If this is it, though, it will be a very sad footnote to one of the best original stories I've ever heard and participated in. Reduced to a single image in a set celebrating the 20th anniversary of another, non-LEGO, IP.

Well, there's always the 50th anniversary...
