Is anyone going to be driving up to Brickfair and passing through Georgia/Tennessee/South Carolina? If you're driving to Brickfair from/through the aforementioned states, ahve space in your car, and are willing to take a fellow BZPer some of the way to/from Brickfair, send me a PM and we can talk about splitting gas costs and such.
I can't be completely certain yet whether or not I can make it ('cause of monies) but I should know by the end of June.

Anyway, almost a week ago I went out and bought my first Bionicle set since Lesovikk, and I finally took a bit of time to build and photograph her. Of all this year's sets, she's the one that most interested me, so I figured I should do a review -- very likely my only review of the year. But she deserves it!

For a real blog post and not shameless plugging, check my previous entry (Was saying that a shameless plug in itself? Oh shoot.).
So since I've been back here, I've done some digging around. Spelunking through old topics and looking through the profiles of various old members who I knew during my earlier days here. It was while doing this that I realized how many prominent older members have left BZPower. Considering how much time I spent on this site when I was younger, a lot of members and their work here had significant effects on me. Seeing how the passage of time has affected them and their work is somewhat depressing
After ceasing this blog's use three years ago and leaving BZP a year later, I have finally found my way back here. You may have (but probably haven't) noticed me on the boards over the past couple of weeks, and after gradually increasing my activities from lurking to posting I've decided to resume blogging here as well.

Whoo! I got the PotC 2 soundtrack today... Or more accurately, a few hours ago. I haven't opened it yet as I've been too busy doing stuff. I always put off opening a new purchase of mine until I have nothing in the way, that way I can enjoy it to its fullest. I don't like doing stuff like that when I'm distracted (building a set at the store or in the car, listening to a soundtrack when there's noise around, etc.). But I'm pretty glad I got it. Well, I've mostly been MOCing today. I'd like to enter BBC #38. The fact that it's being held on the tenth kind of suprised me; I thought it would be a bit later then that. Regardless, I think I have something that works... I just have a week to build most of it.

Weheh, finally got around to updating this again. Sorry, it's been a busy weekend. I've been out almost all day every day from Friday to Sunday night, and today I had various chores and such to do today that took up most of my time (mowing front and back yard, blowing off curb, etc.). Today was kind of lazy. My dad and I watched part of a movie on TV (Executive Order or something like that), then we watched another movie (this time with my mom and sis present): A Few Good Men, wit Tom Cruise and people. Both pretty good movies, I'd say, though kinda old. Anyway, when those were over and everything it was around eight. We'd been planning to go to Barnes & Noble, so... We did.

Just played a couple of Halo 2 Slayer matches with my dad and sis. I won the first time, but they teamed up the second time and beat me. I'm not a real hardcore player (none of us are). I just play for fun now and then.
Also, I finally finished (mostly) vacuuming my sets today... All that's left now are my Metruan and Rahaga... And Keelerak. >.< Hopefully I won't have to do this again for a while.

Bones: I don't quite agree that it was better than the first one... They seem so different that it's almost hard to compare them. It's still a great movie, though, and I think it's very close to the first in terms of coolness.

Whee, 4th of July!
I just got back from an Independance Day pool party... It was fun. There was food (barbecue and soda and stuff), and the sun was pretty bright. Ironically, I can't swim; though I'm tall enough to go all over (pool's only 5' deep). First time in a pool all year... So now I'm back, rather chlorine-soaked (less so since I had a shower) and sun-dried. But it was fun.
We'll probably go see fireworks later this evening... But I'm sleepy right now. *Yawns*
