Bzprpg: Merfolk?
That's right, Merfolk are in the BZPRPG. If you wish to create one, the info on them is below.
Physical characteristics
Merfolk have their gills near their necks, which only work when they are in water. On land they can breathe with their lungs like Toa do. However, their gills cannot breathe in air, like a normal fish cannot breathe in air through their gills. Merfolk also all have fin shaped bones extending behind their forearms (Think like Kiina’s arm armor,) that they use to help them swim.
Abilities
Merfolk have decreased strength on land, equaling the strength of a Matoran when on land. But in the sea, Merfolk have the advantage of brute strength, their strength doubling a normal Toa’s strength, making them stronger than a Skakdi. They can breath underwater, and cannot use Masks.
Variations
Cave Fish Merfolk
Cave Fish Merfolk, along with the normal abilities granted to a Merfolk, have the ability to inhale water to make themselves appear larger.
Makuta Fish Merfolk
Makuta Fish Merfolk, along with the normal abilities granted to a Merfolk, have extremely sharp teeth, strong enough to break through stone.
Lightfish Merfolk
Lightfish Merfolk, along with the normal abilities granted to a Merfolk, posses excellent vision in all environments including the brightest light and near-total darkness, and give off luminescence when in dark areas.
Proto Drake Merfolk
Proto Drake Merfolk, along with the normal abilities granted to a Merfolk, are able to achieve limited flight with their fins, and can withstand extreme heat.
Razor Whale Merfolk
Razor Whale Merfolk, along with the normal abilities granted to a Merfolk, have a row of sharp spikes down their backs, and are larger than the normal Merfolk.
Tarakava Merfolk
Tarakava Merfolk, along with the normal abilities granted to a Merfolk, have larger arms than most species, with a boxing glove like apparatus at the end.
Culture
Little is known about Merfolk culture, except that the legends state that they believe that they should rule over all species in the sea. Merfolk all come from the underwater city of Seaquastria.
Note
All Merfolk profiles must have fire in their weakness category, seeing as they do not interact well with fire.

This is the first time that I'm using the blog, due to the fact that BZPower is celebrating it's anniversary.
Anyway, there's some interesting things that I might share with you over the next few days. Firstly, here's some interesting facts to share with everyone that you may not have known before:
1. Two of my Bionicle stories won me a writer's award at the grade 8 graduation.
2. Many of the artwork that I have done in art class are Bionicle related.
3. I have done a french project based on the Piraka arriving on Voya-nui.
Non-Bionicle related:
1. My best character in the Super Smash Bros. Melee game is Yoshi.
2. I am practicing the art of wavedashing and other useful techniques in that game.
3. Believe it or not, but THIS is actually my most prized possession!
4. I've been to a smash tourney before.
5.The BZP member Sachiel is my older brother.

Holy ######.
I just realized something. Slash, is the GREATEST guitar player, EVER. With Jimi Hendrix as a close 2nd. But still, I was messin with my online turntables and made "Sweet Child O' Mine" sound like I was playing/singing (Yeah, I messed with the pitch
)So yeah, if I can find out how to save mixes, I'll remix stuff by request. I won't do this forever, and it's first come, first serve. I'll make a new entry if I figure it out. Until then, I'll make a list of songs I have.

Apocalypse?
So, I liked X-Men Apocalypse. Haven't had more than a few hours for it to sink in yet, but, you know, so far so good.
I like how the main villain's early actions make it understandable how someone could choose to follow him without personally desiring the end of the world. I mean... nuclear disarmament? Good start, buddy!
But
What if
What if there were a story where some mighty immortal, trapped under rocks for literally thousands of years, woke up, got to see the world
And had an overall positive reaction at first? Like,
They saw cars, and were impressed with the speed at which a machine, unaided by any beasts of burden, could move
And they saw trains, and got excited about trains, because trains are exciting
And then planes. Wow, planes. Planes! If I were that old, and had been asleep that long, planes would blow my mind.
And then someone tells them that smallpox isn't a thing anymore, and oh my good golly gumdrops, smallpox isn't a thing anymore! Again, coming from that far back in history, I'd be blown away.
So they're impressed by that, and by the scale on which people live now (because Cairo ca. 1984 is much, much bigger than Cairo back when there were still working out the issues in pyramid-building), and at first this mighty, immortal ruler, this ancient world-ruler, is just walking around, taking in the sights, and they're thinking, y'know, this is good. I like what you've done with the place. A+ work, kids.
And where they go from there kind of depends on the tone you want to set. Do they remain impressed? Do they decide that humanity, while it has progressed, still needs them at the helm for some reason? Do they see something, some darker side to this advancement, that convinces them that they need to do something big to change things?
Can't really get into that last one without discussing what it is that would convince them that the world needs re-making, and I'm not in the mood to make it something ridiculous like Adam Sandler movies (though, to be fair, "burn the world" is a perfectly understandable reaction to Adam Sandler's financial success), so... yeah. Fun thing to think about.

Hello!
Rigth then, so this my BZP blog, whilst I have one,, and I'm goign to put it to use drumming up voice actors/support for an audio series that I am working on in my spare time. For the first episode, which is a pilot, there will be 5 voiced characters. So here is what it is all about.
There are two Fire Matoran; a warrior and a normal villager, a Ce-matoran(this one is female), who is a hunter, and the Turaga of the fire village. Their names are Dolan, Atyran, Senah and Koln, respectively. There will also be a Narrator.
Dolan is strict and uncompromising.
Atyran is naiive and easily frightened.
Senah is independent and reckless.
Koln is stoic and conservative.
The story is set in a cut off area of the southlands, where no one has ever heard of Toa and doens't know about Mata Nui, the Makuta or any of the usual plot. Through the aations of an unseen enemy, their world is slowly pulled back into contact with the MU (at about the time of Teridax's takeover). Later on there will be need of more characters, but I'm working on this as a pilot to start off with.
All voice actors will be requested to use a free piece of software called Audacity to record thier lines (although you don't need thsi to audition) and Skype for voice recording sessions, so that they can play off eachother and recieve feedback.
If you are at all interested in auditioning, then please pm me to ask for lines. You will then need to email a sound file of your audition to creators_16@hotmail.com. Otherwise, comments and questions can go here for the time being. Once the frst episode is done, I will create a topic in the Media Forum.
