For the first time in a LONG time, I've actually been invited to a friend's house (and actually had the time to go, huzzah).
We already talked about what we'll basically do:
Wait until after church (it's a Sunday, so both of us are doing stuff until about 12:30).
Go eat at this nifty Chinese place over by his house.
And then we're going to play Final Fantasy, Halo, Soul Caliber and Tales of Symphonia until our heads implode.

And then we'll probably do some doodling or someth
In Time Trap, after Vakama fixes the Mask of Time and does his little aside thing, it says he 'wrenches the mask free' from where it was stuck.
That kinda got me thinking...
If you have to wrench it free... it must be stuck pretty good and firm, right?
And that got me thinking some more.
A number of ideas flew through my head.
And this is what I finally came up with.
Heh, I love your use of verbs, Greg.

Merry Christmas, everybody. Hope you had an awesome time today!
And before you all ask: no, the big mystery box wasn't a technological wonder or a computer or anything like that - it would have been awesome beyond recognition if it was, but it wasn't.
Rather, it was a $200 art set: pastel, pencils, watercolor pencils, oil, acrylic, watercolor, a spatula, a tabletop easel - you name it, it's probably in there. @_@ My grandpa wanted to get me something really nice for Christmas, so that's
Merry two days before Christmas, everyone.
As I am writing this, I am currently 18 feet away from my Christmas tree.
Underneath said Christmas tree (or, rather, next to it), received from my grandfather only two days ago, is a rather large box.
And I mean RATHER large. 4' x 3' x 1'. Took up the entire porch when it was delivered.
And it's addressed to me...
*has a heart attack*
For the record: No, I have no idea what it is or what it could be. I had only three things on m

Please keep three close friends of mine in your thoughts and prayers:
One is having some touchy situations with both her school and her church and is taking it very hard. She broke down right bfore our Christmas performance last night. One is having to face some real difficult choices in both his life and the lives of people he knows dearly.
One has had to not only break up with a girlfriend h
I learned a lesson today.
Fry oil hurts.
And it especially hurts when it lands on your skin.
Ahahahaow.
That, and never make the McDonalds ice cream machine angry, or it'll make such a fuss that no one will be able to shut it up.

Wheeee.
At least I finally got my paycheck. PROFIT IS AWESOME.

I've only got one other person I know going there (none of my best friends, which is a bummer), but for what I've seen of this school, it'll be alright. It's a larger school - about 3,000 students on a 400-acre campus. The academics are amazing, mostly in business, engineering, forensics and debate (their debate team is amazing to watch, holy cow), but their fine arts program is certai
Today was my first day actually working (and getting paid) at a fast-food restaraunt.
I got assigned to the register for my shift, but I ended up doing multiple things the whole 5 hours - mainly fries and bagging. I had a friend assigned to drive-thru, so that made things fun. My shift manager says I also make a mean cup of coffee.
I didn't kill anyone or blow anything up, so that's also a good mood-lifter.
It was all awesome and confusing and insane at the same time, and today wasn't

Though I'm quite sick at the moment - a bug's going around, and I swear it's like everyone and their pet gopher is sick this week. D:
Not to mention I got my daily iron dose yanked up, which is just lovely considering the side effects it has on my digestive track. >>

I'd better get better by Monday. That's my first official day at work and the manager is really expecting me to be there! ;.;

I went merrily strolling to the mailbox today to meet Mr. Mailman as he drove up. He's a wonderful guy - he helps my dad out fixing his car, and he knows I and my siblings love Lego. ^^
So when I saw him pull up with a huge grin on his face, I knew it immediately.
LEGO MAGAZINES AHOY.
After being handed a pile of assorted letters and pizza coupons, I proceeded to whip out both mine and my brother's edition of the publishment of glory out of the mess and leaf through my copy's pages fran
No, not those pirates, ya sillies. That movie doesn't come out until the 4th. I should know. It's cirled and dotted and has big red arrows pointing to its date on my calendar.
No, it's more like the pirates that Turakii would hang out with. Pirates of the more economical nature.
Pirates like these guys.

I just realized while browsing last night that I actually have an option to add myself to my friends list (while viewing one of my posts on the board).
Curious.
Having seemingly nothing else to do at the time, I thought, 'Hey, it'd be interesting.'
So I clicked the magical button of friendly magic.
And waited.
The Friends window popped up fairly quickly. But I wasn't on it.
Odd.
That was soon followed by a BZP error message in said Friends window.
My computer then proceed
Just turned in my 854th application for McDonalds. This time, though, the manager himself was there.
And joy of joys, he asked me to come back for an interview tomorrow afternoon.
Considering I have been looking for a job for over a year and have never been asked back until today, I have a right to be very excited right now.
:happydance:
Off to Fall Festival. Have a Happy Halloween, everyone!

We've still got the cat from several entries ago. He's made no attmept to leave, so we're just keeping him after all.
Dad named him Toby. It's very fitting for some reason.
Anyways, because he's still got his claws, he's been a bit of a nuisance. He loves to scratch up stuff.
Including us.
See, he hates to be handled. You can pick him up every now and again and he won't complain, but most of the time if your hands get anyhere near him, it's teeth and claws and a bunch of long, deep
Best. Games. Ever.
HerInteractive has made a total of 17 of these Nancy Drew games so far, and let me tell you, all of these games are AMAZINGLY fun and so much better than the movie that came out this last year. Buildings set on fire, stuff gets stolen, you get knocked out with pepper spray, an ancient French medallion, a Cajun smoke bomb, and a Canadian ice ball, not to mention all the stuff that can happen when things go wrong, like getting eaten by a crocodile, getting suffocated in an Az
Well, half of AC is officially over and done. Congrats to all those members who made the finals, and the best of luck to the six still competing in the Comics Final! =D
Also, thanks to everyone who voted - this was a tough theme this time around, and I know a lot of us participating were sceptical of how our entries would do. The voters are our only hope, when it comes down to it.
A big congrats needs to be given to MartianMan, not only for creating such an amazing theme, but also for sna
Well, my gloominess seems to have spread to my father as well (ITS CONTAGIOUS D:) He's working so hard on stuff for church and with the new wing that just got built and all he gets in return is just "where's this, where's that, why isn't this like that, why aren't people helping" and all that junk that people could prevent if THEY JUST HELPED instead of complaining, but noooo, they're too stubborn and rich and full of themselves...
