As of late, Lady Kopaka (Lady in the Water, 33 votes) and I (Glow in the Airfield, 35) are being whooped. Badly. By Brave_Dragon (Deep Dive, 59) Akamu (Trial and Error, 37), and Akaku Nuva (City of Peril, 43).
Now, it's no surprise that B_D's stomping us to pieces, and I wasn't that shocked about Akamu's, either. Akaku, though... surprised me.
This is totally personal opinion, BTW: I do not enjoy City of Peril. Not as much as others, like LK's
Fun stuff happens to my family.
We were on our way out the door to leave for choir, when this strange sound emitted from the shrubs.

Saw Cars this afternoon with my dad after church. I officially LOVE that movie now! It was so worth the money and the two hours. Much better than X-Men 3, IMO.

I learned something important today.
Always, always, always make sure to eat something if you know you will be doing back-breaking labor for four hours straight without breaks. Even if you did eat breakfast at 10:30 and your mother tells you to eat lunch at 12 when you are still working off breakfast.

Just had a choir meeting about 4 hours ago.
We ran through a few pieces that we need to get done for our upcoming church-wide Bible Study program, and a piece we had to be comfortable with so that our Orchestra could come in next week and play accompaniment. Lots of Tom Fettke stuff. Two of them are absolutely gorgeous, but one's on a 3:4 time with a really odd placement of notes in the chorus, and one goes from a 4:4 time in accapella to a 9:8 time with a lot of eight notes. ><

I've recently learned that over the past couple weeks, someone I work with during the week has been severely hurt, emotionally, by what I've been doing.
It's hit me hard, as this person is an extremely important person to me. I had no clue what I had done until I was pulled aside by 3 different adults, who set me straight.
What's horrible is that I've become the kind of person I swore I'd never be...

Well, I'm finally done with school. I finished a 10-page research paper on George Lucas yesterday (got an A-), thus ending my 10th grade year! Whoo!

For the first time in a LONG time, I've actually been invited to a friend's house (and actually had the time to go, huzzah).
We already talked about what we'll basically do:
Wait until after church (it's a Sunday, so both of us are doing stuff until about 12:30).
Go eat at this nifty Chinese place over by his house.
