This totally happened today during English. We were going over some vocab homework in class and I was disinterested until the teacher asked: "Who can give me the definition of 'discord?' My hand went up, and before I even knew it I said: "A lack of harmony between ponies." "Po--?" "People. I said people." So, ponies. Helping the public education system since 2011. Currently on hiatus until I figure out whether I want to continue writing this, or move to a different fic first. In the meantime, those of you interested in reading what little there is can click here. ●TN●
So today we finally got the walleye back at Culver's all the customers have been practically begging for. I get to work, take my position in the kitchen and get ready for the lunch rush. Thing is, we're not selling any walleye. Now me being my intelligent self, I brought up the point that if the general manager didn't have the day off, he'd be here and would have had somebody put "Walleye Is Back" on the sign outside like we always do. The other two in the kitchen with me agreed, so one of them
So, after much anxious waiting, the Target near my house finally got in the summer sets.
Bye-bye, gift card.
I saw Takanuva's enormous box sitting up high on that shelf and snatched it without thinking. After giving a sad goodbye to Tahu and Bitil reassuring them that I would return one day soon, I made way for the check-out. After the guys' last two softball games of the season, I headed home, checked my e-mail, watched an episode of Mission Impossible from the second season with my fathe
Didn't have to get up at 4AM to work at Target this morning. My new computer monitor showed up yesterday. The rest of the computer parts are showing up today. Short, 4-hour shift for work today. What does all this mean? It means that, tonight, one of my best pals is coming over and we're building us (and by "us" I mean "me") a computer! Now watch one of the parts be DOA and kill my mood. ●TN●
Sorry, but you guys will just have to put up with another modified VIDEO GAME screenshot.
Anyways, one of the two three six particular people I've been waiting to say this to...
Congratulations, Avohkah Tamer! - LINK.
Let's see what happens when we put HK-47 from KOTOR in a scene with Turaga Claus.
Start quoting, "Meatbags"!

I've had this laptop only a little over a year and a half and already something's wrong. The video card must be shot or something because everything is grayscale.
Absofreakin'loutly everything.
You'd think I could expect a little more from a laptop that cost me close to fifteen-hundred.
Stupid 1 year warranty...

Don't know what this is all about? Check this topic!
Not going to be all that much about this particular episode. Though, as you can see, they've gotten better as they go. This is the first one that actually has an interesting, full plot in a single episode.
I'm sure you'll notice the props on the Island Hopper spinning all by themselves. This was done by aiming a small electric fan at them. The fan also made a somewhat plane-like sound, so we left it in.

Easter eggs, that is.
For those of you who keep up with the Clone Wars tv show (I just watch 'em online) but don't get the Starwars.com newsletter, I'd like to share you some tidbits from Homing Beacon #257. In "Ambush," the aurebesh legend at the bottom of Thire's macrobinocular viewplate reads "infrared mode". The top reads "regular mode." In "Rising Malevolence," the second escape pod, Pod 1977, is named after the release year of the original Star Wars. In "Shadow of Malevolence," the "C

Okay, so it was Wolverine. Disregard that.
Just got back from seeing Sands of Time. I'd never actually seen a movie based on a video game before, but I'm well aware of the reputation they have. That said, I actually liked the movie. Granted it's lacking in some places regarding pacing and I feel they should have spent some more time developing some of the characters, but that didn't make it unwatchable. Quite t
Another episode done. I do a quick recap of my weekend and BEG FOR QUESTIONS. SERIOUSLY, PEOPLE. I DON'T CARE IF YOUR PM CONSISTS OF
On another note, since there was no questions to answer I decided to grant Kothra's request for Metroid music. SO I DECIDED TO HAVE METROID MUSIC PLAY THROUGH THE WHOLE GOSHDARNED SHOW which isn't very long, btw, due to lack of content.

Well now, Tavakai, it has to do with quantam phsyics there's many possible reasons. One such possible reason could be that I'm trying to do my part to REVERSE GLOBAL WARMING by turning off the tube for a bit. Or, it could be that Tirvon is holding a chainsaw he swiped from Xarna over the TV until I finish this reply. I'll let you decide.
Of course, I could always sue him for carrying a concealed weapon (I mean, nobody outside the house even knows he has it!) but the time it would take me to wr
LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga just came out on Steam today for the PC at $19.99!
If it weren't for the fact that I already own 1 and 2 for XBox, I'd totally grab this! $20 just for a few new and/or redesigned levels just isn't quite worth it to me though.
Still, if you don't have both of the first games already, you should totally get this.

Eh, there's probably already a topic for this somewhere in GA GD, but, I dunno, there's just something that seems extra-special to me about Than that I thought I'd give him his own entry.
No, I'm not sucking up to a favorite staffer or anything like that. If that were the case I'd have Pohuaki on my list as well.
That said, Happy 20th, Than! May your birthday provide a bountiful harvest of materialistic items and warm fuzzy feelings!

It's now official! There's a website even! It's....
STAR WARS: THE OLD REPUBLIC
Set 300 years after Knights of the Old Republic and 3,500 before the rise of Darth Vader, The Old Republic will be an MMORPG which continues the story of KOTOR and we discover just what it is that Revan and The Jedi Exile went looking for beyond the reaches of known space.
Only being know of for a little while, The Old Republic has already been shortened to an acronym, much like it's predecessors. However, s
The Jonas Brother's singing Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" live with Jordin Sparks is awesome.
