So today we finally got the walleye back at Culver's all the customers have been practically begging for. I get to work, take my position in the kitchen and get ready for the lunch rush. Thing is, we're not selling any walleye. Now me being my intelligent self, I brought up the point that if the general manager didn't have the day off, he'd be here and would have had somebody put "Walleye Is Back" on the sign outside like we always do. The other two in the kitchen with me agreed, so one of them grabbed a stack of plastic letters and put it on the sign outside...

 

Suddenly, it went berserk. Almost EVER SINGLE ORDER for the next hour to two hours . . . was a BUTTERBURGER DELUXE.

 

We sold one walleye sandwich.

But anyway, wow. People beg for something to come back, and when it does, it's just like it was never there...

 

Just goes to so that sometimes the grass is greener on the other side.

And if that's the case, paint that grass into a darker shade so your side looks better.
