Hello.
I'm sure you've heard of Tilius' fantastic effort to get TLG to produce a Great Spirit set. If you haven't, the link to the poll is here, and his blog is here.
Anyway, here's my idea: If the effort fails, we build a Great Spirit TO SCALE with the sets. As I said in the poll topic, that's 1275.90698 kilometres tall.
I propose we build it in the Pacific or the Atlantic, whichever works best for BZPower's members. Having around 40000 members, we will be able to ration 318 metres (meas
I was going to make an entry about Google Instant and Google Scribe, the cool new stuff. But then I saw this DOUBLE RAINBOW outside. Took some photos on my phone:

So yeah. I'm on exam leave again. Got lucky this time, the rainbow heralds my 6-day weekend. =D
EDIT: The funny thing is, the weatherman had said there'd be 'strange weather', and my mum said "What sort of strange weather?", to which I replied "A double rainbow, of course!", and I was RIGHT! I must be a p
They're discussing the 3DS in the DS topic. Did they discuss the DS in the GBA topic, too?
Why don't people realise that the 3DS is not a new DS, it's a next-gen handheld?
Looks amazing. Sense didn't use to be this awesome. Cached maps, skins, remote wipe, and more!
New phones!
Desire Z: Qwerty 'slider', 3.7-inch, 800MHz Snapdragon with awesome GPU, and the new Sense.
Desire HD: 4.3-inch, 1GHz Snapdragon with awesome GPU, and the new Sense.
Images link to their respective pages.
I want the Desire Z. It'd replace my Legend, the Galaxy S would be the other one. Which is something else I don't have.
And a Galaxy Tab. Too much to want, no money!
I'm going to learn coding for Android. A good first step is a simple, easy, app. So I'm going to make one.
I need ideas, though. I'm currently thinking of making a mobile version of BZPower. But are there really that many BZPers with Android?
It'd be free, and ad-free. Well, BZP has ads, so I might need to include theirs, but we'll see. It'd basically be a mobile-friendly BZPower, with the news, forums, blogs, and all that.
I'd assume permission would be necessary, so if I get enough requ
I've found two so far.
Chromercise - First I thought it was a new Chrome Short, but it was pretty obviously April Fools. Quite funny. I'm not in the US so I couldn't try getting the finger bands, unfortunately.
Gmail Motion - Frikkin' hilarious. Especially the words the motions produce. Top stuff.
Anyone see anything else?

So that's the holidays over. My last school holidays. What did I do? I got a new phone. I wrote and published an Android app. I had several ideas for hardware that I have no way to act upon. Studied a bit. Went out for dinner with friends. And tomorrow, school. Two weeks, then exams. Eight more weeks, then more exams. Then, university applications, freelance work, real life. My eighteenth birthday. University. Then what? It's all happening so fast. The final year of school is designed to str
So, BIONICLE sets are ending. And here's my obligatory opinion: I don't like that the sets are going. I am a collector (sorta), so it's not good that I won't be able to anymore. It is awesome that the story's going to continue. I'm looking forward to the story without the restrictions sets brought.I think that, now that the sets are gone, BZPower will be the majority of the fanbase, which means more story influence! That's a good thing.I fully support Tilius in his effort for a Great Spirit set.
I think it turned out quite well. I spent at least 10 minutes on it in GIMP. It's just things that I like in a 750*268 rectangle. I like the crack, especially. I traced a path from the crack in Amy's bedroom from the finale, and told GIMP to stroke it with heaps of jitter and opacity/size variation thrice, then I tilted it to make stuff fit better. I found a white-on-black DW logo online, inverted it, shrunk it, and put it in. I took the Android, moved his arm up, tilted him, cut his legs off an
This is awesome. Sydney's going through a dust storm. The sky is ORANGE. REALLY bright orange. It's incredible.
I'll get photos up soon.
Sydneysiders, look outside!

I notice the board has star ratings for users. I don't think this is a good idea.
What can one possibly gain out of being given a bad rating, with no reason. If you do leave a rating on a person's page, what are the chances, really, that you'll leave a comment explaining why you gave them that rating? With other things, such as artwork, or blogs, or videos, the chances are much higher. I would not 'one-star' a person, because that is just plain mean. Imagine how degrading it must feel to be a
I haven't posted in ages, so I thought I might as well.
My dad's put parental controls on, so I only have access to the computer 4 hours a day weekdays, 14 hours a day weekends. This is annoying, because it's the 4 hours of my day that nobody is online, that is, 6PM-8PM GMT+10
The End of Time Part 1 airs tomorrow, and I'm hoping at least SOME friends turn up to watch with us. If they don't, they should at least come for Part 2. The annoying thing is that (probably because of TV channel comp
It was a topic to talk about smartphones! Pitting things against eachother is not the only thing you can do when talking about smartphones!
Geez, I didn't know interesting discussion wasn't allowed here.
I just got my braces off.
It hurt more than a tooth being pulled out.
And my gums stick out and are uncomfortable.
I can't remember the last time I had brace-less teeth.
I got some hands-on time for the 3DS today.
IT IS AMAZING.
AMAZING.
Also, some info from my conversation with the staff guy at the event:
- He told me to expect an 8th-Gen Nintendo home console at E3 2012
- He also said that 2012 will be a "big year in gaming" (emphasised on Nintendo)
- The 3DS has a 200MHz GPU (I think it was GPU) underclocked at 133MHz
- It's also got a (I think he said "low power", maybe dual-core) CPU, which is for MULTITASKING (YAY!)
- 64MB of RAM
- Browser
I really can't wait for tomorrow morning, because Dr. Who comes out! It looks fantastic, from all the clips I've seen, and I hope it is
Anyway, I'm really split over which phone to get. It's a rather difficult decision, because it's almost $600 overall I'm paying for it (and that's just straight off). I've managed to narrow it down to two phones, both by the same company: The HTC Desire and HTC Legend.
They are easily the two best Android phones on the market (in my opinion, I mean, spec-wi
You know that song, I am the Doctor, from Doctor Who? Yeah, you know the one, the main one? Plays all the time. Anyway, I thought it might be fun to reverse it, and it was! It's a great song forwards and backwards. Here's the backwards version, I'm calling it rotcoD eht ma I:

Well, my blog is back to normal, like I said it would be.
Got TF2 yesterday, well, got it BACK after Steam killed itself. It's a very fun game, and I recommend it to anyone with bloodlust (well, comic bloodlust)
And that's pretty much all I have to say for now... Oh, no, wait a second...
DSi has some new colours, like lime green, light blue (REAL light blue, not sky blue of the Lite), Navy (or "Metallic Blue"), and, (o.O) Hot Pink.

In the Official Elements Topic recently, I've been trying to push my theory of Gravity in BIONICLE. It's based on Quantum Field Theory and the Standard Model of physics.
Here are the facts we have:
-Toa of Gravity can, on a small scale within the MU, change gravity using elemental energy
-When all gravity in an area in the MU is absorbed, the result is anti-gravity.
-Mata Nui can control gravity on a much larger scale than a Toa.
-Mata Nui standing on Aqua Magna was not seen to have an
