Well... today, nine years ago, ten-year-old me decided to join BZP after a few years of hanging around the news page. In that time I haven't even managed to rack up 1500 posts yet haha Anyway, new spinny I guess. I'm 19 now too, so here's hoping for another year 'til my tenth anniversary. Carry on BZP, and while my activity has gone down a ton lately, I still like this place quite a bit and hope you all won't be going anywhere anytime soon. I won't be.
https://soundcloud.com/l-chlantocher/the-willing-well-iv-the-final just finished this instrumental cover of The Willing Well IV: The Final Cut for school. Some things to note: -it had been so long since I'd played this last that I forgot it was in drop tuning, so I accidentally recorded it in standard. -I play bass, both rhythm and lead guitar, organ, and piano (what little there is of it) on here. The drums are midi, and sadly there's no vocals because I haven't found anyone to sing it ye
So, I dunno' if any of you kept up with The All-American Rejects after their BIONICLE gig, or if you ever even liked them in the first place. But they just released their fourth album, and I picked it up the other day. After the release of their third album, which was an unbelievable improvement from Move Along (seriously you can't imagine how much better/different it was), I figured this one wouldn't beat it. I was right, but after listening through Kids In The Street many times, I can safely
As soon as I get money over to my paypal I am getting this. Cleverbot: Are you a person? User: Guess. Cleverbot: I think you are. User: I used to wonder what friendship could be. Cleverbot: Until you all shared its magic with me. User: Big adventure. Cleverbot: Tons of fun. User: A beautiful heart. Cleverbot: Faithful and strong. User: Sharing kindness. Cleverbot: It's an easy feat. User: And magic makes it all complete! Cleverbot: My little pony. User: Don't you know you're all my very best friends. Cleverbot: Thank you. I ne
Okay, we're up to date now, here's the seventh and eighth models for each calendar: So, on the seventh of december, we get what is possibly the coolest model yet: an RC fire truck with a remote. At first I was thinking it was a kind of stupid looking car, but then I realized it was a firetruck and was awed. Kind of. It's a pretty cool little thing, I think. And today we get (brace yourselves) another brick wall. But this time with skis! Now the only thing I don't get is why does a fire hall
Here's three of the most depressing songs in existence, all by Megadeth. Excerpts provided for reading purposes.
Youthanasia: "We are the ###### of all the world, with sadness in our hearts.
The wounded of the wars; we've been hung out to dry.
You didn't want us anyway, so now we're making up our minds.
You tell us how to run our lives: we run for euthanasia."
When: "And the oath I swear on this day, to share your pain.
Until then, until I see your world implode,
I wish you death
Yeah I just love the things... they're so retro and awesome... like vinyl, but cheaper! I just bought No Exit by Fates Warning and Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son by Iron Maiden off amazon, both for under $.25. A few of my friends think I'm crazy, but my car only plays cassettes and I want to have some great tunes to drive along to when I get my license on Thursday. On a somewhat unrelated note (again), I've bought a ton of stuff this week with christmas money: *Toa Norik *Tahnok Va *Kohrak
Yeah, bow to me. =P
Now, let's see...
Invictus = Phantom Lord (Kill 'Em All)
Laughin' Man = Creeping Death (Ride The Lightning)
Xinlo = Leper Messiah (Master Of Puppets)
Billy Idol = Harvester Of Sorrow (...And Justice For All)
haha = Sad But True (Metallica)
??? = (Load)
??? = (Reload)
??? = (Garage Inc.)
??? = (St. Anger)
??? = (Death Magnetic)
So come on people. *Prepares to be shot by a Creeping Death*
So basically been wondering about this for a while, 'cause I've had a few instances where people ask me/request something, I answer, and never hear from them. Nothing accusatory here, just idle curiosity: do you ever go back and check blog entries/topics/profile comments to see if anyone has replied to something you said? I do all the time when I remember.
so in ear training class today someone had written "What a friend we have in Jesus" on the board, so one of the other guys stood up in the middle of the class, erased "Jesus" and put "Jimi Hendrix." Then we progressed into a lesson on suspended chords and another kid at the end of the lesson changed it to "What a friend we have in Gsus"
On vinyl. B) Bit not worth it maybe, $22 for a beat-up copy, that's pretty scratched... but it was a gift for my dad, and now I get to listen to it whenever.
I find out I'm wrong, when I thought I was right It's always the same, it's just a shame, that's all I could say day, you'd say night Tell me it's black when I know that it's white It's always the same, it's just a shame, that's all
Every media player on Ubuntu is freakin' awful for adding stuff to my iPod. Rhythmbox is just bad all around, Banshee can't add anything without freezing or scrambling the artwork, Songbird doesn't support MP3 players, and Clementine doesn't add artwork along with the songs. FRUSTRATION.
Well, on my own site, me and another member were having an argument. And well, I kinda said something I shouldn't have. I feel really bad. And, he's not talking to me. What should I do?

One of my relatives... I dunno' what he is, maybe a second cousin once removed or something? Anyway, he's like 7, and he had brought a bag of lego to my grandparents' house. I had met this kid once before maybe when he was two-ish, so I started talking with him and he showed me some sets he had and stuff. I was messing around with a star wars set (that green and yellow one from the clone wars) and a piece fell off. I picked it up, and looked briefly around the ship to find where it fell from, bu
