After 4 days of trying to style Rarity's hair, it still is not satisfactory. I tried tutorials, but she ended up looking like Fluttershy (as I previously blogged), then I tried brushing it and stuff, but that made it worse, so then I tried molding it around pencils... which worked, but the curls are all facing the wrong direction and I don't know how to fix them. Things about my day: -Listened to Volbeat ALL DAY -Played more international Monopoly, against two Chileans and a Chinaman. I got a Rarity! It wasn't really awkward at all 'cause the cashier was really grumpy and only said "want a bag?" And they restocked on ponies. I didn't look through them all, but I saw they had Rarity (one of the best toy representations) and they're on sale for $3.50. So I've made up my mind: Get up tomorrow, go for a "meandering" walk (at least that's what I'll say) and pop down to walmart to buy me a Rarity. Sneak back into house and hide it, and no-one will ever know! It's genius.
Every media player on Ubuntu is freakin' awful for adding stuff to my iPod. Rhythmbox is just bad all around, Banshee can't add anything without freezing or scrambling the artwork, Songbird doesn't support MP3 players, and Clementine doesn't add artwork along with the songs. FRUSTRATION.
I just made a bunch of custom ponies in the creator, representing my friends on another site (taking online attributes into account) and put them in said friends' banners on my site, whether they like MLP or not. In fact, I made it so they are unable to edit their signature to remove it. Yeah, who's awesome? B)

Well, sort of. It's still super in-the-works, with only a rough guitar track as a guide so far, but it's my fifth attempt at a song, and the first to retain its charm overnight. The opening riff is almost too fast for me too play, but after some practice I'll have it. Just gotta' find a program that can make synthetic instruments for bass and drums... Yeah, made a few slight tweaks, and gave him a cutie mark: Based off a Toa Of Sonics, so he has very good hearing. Thus ^^^ TOO LOUD. Also made this guy, who is supposed to be a vague representation of me IRL: I don't like this one as much, because seeing it now, he looks kinda' greenish... and the cutie mark didn't work so well, and I had square glasses on him but they vanished somehow. So yeah.

I started rewatching Season 1 (with Eccleston) and watching some I hadn't seen yet. They were great. Then I decided to continue on into the other seasons and rewatch some Tennant episodes I didn't really remember... I forgot just how fun they were to watch. I like Matt Smith as The Doctor quite a bit, but the writing in the new episodes, while being good, is such a chore to follow... my brain feels dead after a few episodes in a row.
