It is my belief that being sick significantly diminishes my ability to form witty, wry entries on life, the universe, and random bits. Since I am indeed sick, I shall instead post this entry, which has in fact been lurking half-formed in my head for the last two months or so. The reasons for its neglect may have something to do with the fact that the number of people here who honestly care about the non-nonsensical aspects of my life could be counted

I may have mentioned it in passing.
It is more or less an adolescent wish-fulfillment fantasy, (And yes, I will become a Toa. But there's a twist! Really!) but hopefully a well written and reasonably engaging one. There was a period when I had a great many MOCs built (Some of which never made it onto the internets) that my imagination ran amok, and I played out lots of imaginary adventures that will eventually work their way into this.

I spent the last few days playing counselor to a cabinful of unruly manchildren at a church camp. Most of it was fun, I didn't die of sunburn or big bites, and some of my friends went out too, which was all very well and good. It would have been nice if the boys had sat down and shut up after being asked to do so. You'd think constant repetition to that effect would have some sort of influence...Being more vociferous and less sedate than girls is a trademark of boys, but there's a time and place

I've seen it said here and there that the quality of a MOC is subjective, what's really skilled to one person is crud to another, and it-doesn't-matter-if-you-think-my-MOC-isn't-good-because-it's all-subjective-anyway. This isn't as prevalent as "custom-is-evil-let's-all-build-glorified-toamods" or "10/10 KUTGW!", but I thought I'd address it anyway.
The quality of a MOC is not subjective. The standards by which a good MOC is measured are not variable, inasmuch as the style of the builder is

In case you haven't noticed, the adventures of the last month have dealt with things that were popular largely in the 1980s. So things like Harry Potter, LotR, and Pokemon are not likely candidates for any future staff name changes. Maybe Indiana Jones, but I'm not one to say.
