Tropical Storm Cindy is predicted to be hitting my local area as of this entry later tonight. Or as least, we'll be getting hit by its dry side. (The west side of it) Regardless, it's been awhile since anything tropical has affected where I live. So for those who may not be aware, there is currently a tropical depression, named Harvey, in the Gulf of Mexico that is being predicted to hit southeast Texas, where I live, sometime late on this coming Friday. The Titanic II, which is 'to be built as a modern day replica of the RMS Titanic,' is currently scheduled to launch its first trip in 2018. Well, Star Wars: The Force Awakens has finally been released in theaters. I, however, won't be able to see it until sometime on Christmas weekend. (Hopefully.) As you can tell from the trailer, this latest Zelda game looks beautiful. It also has some amazing music, though nearly all Zelda games have good music, so this isn't a surprise. As for the game itself, its looks like its going to be a lot of fun to play. I do get vibes from Uncharted, Xenoblade Chronicles, and Shadow of the Colossus from it, but those are good vibes. I saw X-Men: Apocalypse last Thursday at a midnight showing, though I haven't had a chance to talk about it until now. Man, a LOT of trailers have come out in the past week. Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Transformers: The Last Knight, Fast and Furious 8, etc. And along with those came this trailer for War for the Planet of the Apes. As for what I think of the trailer, it looks great IMO. They picked a great song to go with it. Plus, it has a Guardians of the Galaxy feel going for it, which makes it even better. November can't get here soon enough.
This is a movie that I wanted to see for a little while, and I'm glad it lived up to my expectations. The Revenant is definitely not a kid's movie (its rated R), but for those old enough for it, I do recommend it. There are some amazing shots of the scenery in the movie. The environment looks just as beautiful as it is deadly. I actually felt cold in the theater at points just from watching this movie. I've seen people say that the latest Pokemon Direct wasn't the most exciting one ever, and I would agree with that opinion. Upon making this entry, I realized that I haven't talked about Pokemon Go since last February. Let's fix that. Pokemon Go has changed a lot since Gen 2 was released. The gyms have been completely redone, and for the better IMO. Now they can only have six Pokemon in them, with none of them being duplicates of each other. Plus they count as Pokestops as well.
