Yep, ANOTHER trailer for Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice was released today. I don't think I've ever seen a movie get so many trailers before. I would throw out a complaint about the movie having too many trailers, but then I watched this new one and, well, it actually made my interest in the movie grow a bit. Only the first teaser has really done this for me before. This new one was really good. I won't spoil anything here for those that don't want to see it, but I will say that if you l
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_8cbx_jOmw Well, if there was any doubts at all that this movie was a myth, this trailer crushes them. I really don't have much to say about this trailer, except that emoji has the same amount of excitement for this movie as I do. I really try not to judge movies based only on their trailers, but I just don't see how this movie could be good. At least not yet, anyways. But I guess we'll find out if it is good or not when it is released next year. What
*Thirty years ago yesterday, video game players were introduced to a lone bounty hunter by the name of Samus Aran, who began her journey to rid the universe of Space Pirates and Metroids in the 1986 game titled 'Metroid.' Since then, there have been several titles that have been added to this growing series. Metroid 2: Return of Samus. Super Metroid. Metroid Fusion. Metroid Prime. Metroid: Zero Mission. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Metroid Prime Hunters. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Metroid: Other
Has anyonw else seen this commercial? It's the one where Santa is running through the parking lot of a Target while Christmas music plays in the background. It was on TV last year and I've seen it this year. It is one of my favorite Christmas commercials. I don't know what it is about it, but I think that it's a really great commercial. It always brings a smile to my face.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you all get to relax today with family and friends. And for those who don't celebrate the day, I hope you have a great day as well.
Even though the corporate world have mostly forgotten about it, I know there are still people out there that remember and celebrate Thanksgiving. And that is one of the things I'm thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
And oh, does it feel good to be back! After working 14 to 16 hours shifts for the last 13 days, I've finally back to my regularly scheduled shifts at work. Which means I have time to be on BZP again! It was a rough 13 days of work. I ended up working almost 177 hours between those days, so I'm very thankful that I have today off. Now I just have to catch up on all the TV episodes and Youtube videos I've missed. (And finally catch Groudon in Omega Ruby)
I don't know if I'll have a chance to post this after tonight, so I'll go ahead and do it now. After this coming Thursday, you probably won't be seeing me very much on the site. This is because of Spring Break, which is the busiest time of the year where I work. This will be the fifth year where I've endured a Spring Break at my job, and its because of these previous Spring Breaks that I'll only have time to work, eat, and get what sleep that I can during this time ahead. Just to give you in
Over the last two days, I gotten calls that had some really strange names bought up in my phone's caller ID. And they weren't people's names either. They were names of things I wouldn't expect to see in one's caller ID. Here are these names: Illegal Scams. Protect Love Ones. Incoming Baby. Redemption Dept. My only question is why am I getting calls from people or place who identify themselves with these names? I know there're probably telemarketers, but still...
So what will probably be a tropical storm by this coming Friday night is going hit where I live in a couple of days. It won't get a direct hit, but my area will be on the east side of the storm. AKA the dirty side of it. And that means lots of rain and thunderstorms. Yay.
Now as I have been few a couple tropical storms and hurricanes, I'm not too worried about these storms. But I am a little frustrated because I bought a ticket for Pokemon Go Fest and I'll probably have to do half of it sit
'The Last Jedi.' That is the name of the next Star Wars movie coming out this December. The title most likely refers to Luke. At least, that is what I think it's referring to. Because Kylo Ren isn't a Jedi anymore, technically, and Rey hasn't been trained to be a Jedi yet. So I'm pretty sure this title is referring to Luke. As for the name itself, I like it. It's simple, yet still sounds cool IMO. What do you guys think of the name?
Just a heads up, if you don't want to know who the villain (or at least a villain) is in the upcoming Spider-Man movie, don't read any further than this. So Kevin Fiege, the man who oversees the Marvel movies for the MCU, confirmed last night that Michael Keaton will play The Vulture in Spider-Man: Homecoming. This really isn't a surprise to me, because it has been rumored for awhile that he was up for this role. Now it's just confirmed. I'm excited for this. I thought he did a good job in
With The Force Awakens coming out in a couple weeks, I thought it would be interesting to ask some Star Wars related questions this time around. And those questions are: What is your all-time favorite Star Wars movie, and why is it your favorite?
...And I didn't even find out about it until I went on Twitter. I really need to try harder to keep up with current events. Anyways, have a happy Earth Day, everyone.
So I read a story that took place in in a restaurant in Chengdu, the capital of Central China's Sichuan Province. A customer found a dead cockroach in his salad and complained to his waitress. She responded by saying "It's just a cockroach" and that it was normal to find them in restaurants. The customer then agrued that if it was so normal that she should eat it. And then she ate it, to the shock of everyone in the restaurant. The customer said nothing in response to this. He just paid hi
Well, it looks like I won't be able to finish my Short Story Contest entry before the deadline. I'll be extremely busy over the next two days, so I won't have time to work on it. Oh well, maybe next time.
I've had the game for a few months now, but I was still playing through Pokemon Y again when I bought it. And I didn't want to be playing through the two games at the same time. So I finally finished Y a week or so ago and now have started Pokemon Omega Ruby. And can I just say that I've enjoyed it a lot so far. The game looks beautiful. It really uses the Pokemon X and Y design to make Hoenn look amazing. Just seeing the title screen of the game alone gets me pumped up to continue my adventur
So a couple weeks ago, I asked you all what should be the next set that I have laying around my room that I should build next. The set that won, at least according to what I read in the comments of it, was General Grievous. I wasn't able to build him at the time I said I was going to because life events got in the way. But yesterday I finally just sat down and got him built. Overall, I think he is a really impressive set. He definitely looks like his film counterpart. He is also bigger than I
So the next DLC character for Super Smash Bros: Ultimate was revealed yesterday. We already knew that said character would be from the ARMS series. And now we know who it will be.
The next DLC character will be Min Min.
Now I personally don't know anything about the ARMS series other than it was a game released for the Switch awhile ago. From what I understand, it hasn't had the most successful lifespan on the system, but it's still looked like a cool game. Especially from what is sho
That is how many consecutive years I have worked at my job as of today. Wow, that feels like a really long time. I started out as a regular attendant at the beginning, but I've worked my way up over the years and became a manager. Now I help run my department. It's been a good six years. Here's hoping the next six will be just as good.
It was six years ago today that I joined BZP under the username 'The Smoke Monster.' I can't believe that I've been here for so long. Not that I'm complaining, because I've loved my time as a member of BZP. Here's hoping that the next six years and beyond are just as good as the first six.
BZP Member Lucina started a poll topic asking people if BZP should have a Lego Video Game Sub-Forum. The poll has gotten a little more than 20 votes as of this entry, but I thought I'd still promote the topic with this blog entry in case anyone was unaware of it and would like to cast a vote in it. Here is a link to that topic.
The following video is about a year old, but I only found it on Facebook the other day. Regardless, it's really cool. It shows scientists founding sharks living in an active volcano.
It's a great find IMO.
