I believe it is safe to assume that a new Metroid game will be announced in the forseeable future. Nobody knows when, but I believe it could be in few years. Here is my list of what I want and don't want in this upcoming game. 1. Give Ridley a Rest: Now, don't get me wrong. I love facing off against Ridley in Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 3 Corruption, and the other Metroid games he was in. But I think it's time for him to take a break from the story. He has been in every Metroid game except fo
Well, this is the first Saturday that I have not worked at my job since the last week of April. It felt so weird being off, but I was volunteering for a class that I participate in, so it was worth it. This class had its District Conference today, which was really cool and all. I got to help out with some events and hang out with some of my friends. Overall, I had a lot of fun today.
...doesn't exist yet. I'm going to wait until next month to make it. There really isn't anything I want this year. (With the exception of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, but even that is a maybe.) I may just put gift cards on my list because I don't know what else to put on it. Oh well.
Here, ladies and gentlemen, is a picture of my cellphone that I have been using for the last six years. (This is just a picture of this type of phone I found online. My actual phone is a little more beat up, but it still works fine.) It makes phone calls and text messages, but not much else. If you are wondering why I still have this cellphone instead of one of the newer ones, it's because I'm just not that big of a cellphone person. I've only sent four or five text messages on this thing i
So like I said in my previous entry, I did a lot of stuff in Las Vegas while on vacation. (Nothing that I can't post about here though. ) I thought I'd give a quick breakdown of what exactly I did while my Dad and I were there. 1. We stayed at the Paris Hotel, which had a huge ground area. It was bigger than any other ground I have ever seen in a hotel. Though that is to be expected for a hotel in Vegas. But since we were staying there, we got a discount for a trip to the top of the Eiffel
I love them! I always enjoy eating them when I get the chance. I really like them with ranch dressing. There a great appetizer, IMO. Does anyone else here like to eat them too?
There are a LOT of movies coming out this year. Here is a list of the ones I plan to see. It is in no particular order. 1. Captain America: Civil War 2. DeadPool 3. Doctor Strange 4. 10 Cloverfield Lane 5. Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice 6. Star Trek Beyond 7. Suicide Squad 8. X-Men: Apocalypse 9. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story 10. Gambit 11. Independence Day: Resurgence I've already seen the Revenant, so I can check that one off the list. I might also see Finding Dory and Kung Fu Panda
So what happens when you take
and put it in scenes from other movies? Well, you get the following video I found while randomly looking around YouTube.
The stuff I find on that site....
Storywise, I really haven't haven't gotten that much farther in the game other than going through Victory Road. It wasn't that hard of a challenge, but man did that route have some great TMs! It had both Flamethrower and Psychic, which are amazing moves that I taught to Camerupt and Latios as soon as I got them. Plus, all my Pokemon are level 50 now. Hopefully they will be strong enough for the Elite Four when I finally get around to challenging them. And what have I been doing all this time?
You all may remember this blog post I made about a couple creepy images that were on the BZP's frontpage back in September. I thought we would see more of them in October thanks in part to Halloween, but I was wrong. In fact, I was off by almost a month. Because when I went to the frontpage tonight, I was met with this: Not as creepy as that nightmare causing image of Luke's face from the Luke Skywalker Constraction set a couple months back, but its still a little disturbing to see Carnage
For those who weren't aware, this year is the 30th anniversary of Nintendo's Metroid franchise. It is hands down my favorite franchise from them. I love it even more than Pokemon. Samus Aran is also one of my favorite video game characters out there. I own all the Metroid games in one way or another, and I've played through all but two of them. (Those two being the original Metroid and Metroid 2: Return of Samus.) Out of the ones I've completed, I've 100% all of them except Super Metroid. (Pl
Since I'm posting some Metroid-related stuff on my blog for the theme's 30th anniversary, I'd thought I would post this here and give you all my thoughts on it. 1. I like that it mentions Samus's fight against Phazon. From the way it sounds, it looks like this game's story takes place after Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Though that's just a guess on my part. 2. I really like how the game looks. It definitely has the 'Metroid' feel IMO. 3. From watching some of the game play, I kind of get L
As I stated in this previous blog entry, I wanted to make some ten lists for some of my favorite things from Metroid to celebrate its 30th anniversary. This is the first of a few lists that I plan to make. As the title says, this particular list is my Top Ten Favorite Beam Weapons from the Metroid Franchise. This is based solely on my opinion about these beams. I will list what games they appear in, what they do, and why I like them. And here we go. 10: Battlehammer Seen in: Metroid Prime
I've stated that I was going to be making a few lists for some of my favorite things in the Metroid Franchise a couple months back to celebrate its 30th anniversary this year. I've already made a list of my Top Ten Favorite Metroid Beams to start this off back in February. But it has been awhile since I've made my next list. Now it's time to change that, and I'm going to do that by listing my five favorite Metroid Suits. As with my Favortie Metroid Beams list, this is strictly my opinion, and
Merry Christmas everyone! I hope your day is filled with joy, family, and good food. I'll be spending most of my day at work. (Yep, I work today, but it is what it is.) Regardless, I hope everyone has a great day!
Don't know how much free time I'm going to have tomorrow, so I'm going to go ahead and say Merry Christmas to you all! Enjoy the time with your family and be appreciative of the gifts you recieve. Merry Christmas, everyone!
Time of the Match: The other day. Rules of the Battle: One Stock. No time limit. My character picked from random: Mega Man. My opponent picked from random: CPU Dark Pit Level 9. The Arena picked at random: Balloon Flight. Lengh of the match: Roughly 10 seconds. Breakdown of the match: Gets sneak attacked from behind, thrown into the water in the middle of the stage, grabbed by the giant fish in said water, escaped that to be attacked again by Dark Pit, fell back into the water, and t
It's May the Fourth, so I thought I'd post something Star Wars related here to celebrate the occasion. And what better way to mark the day than to show one of the first YouTube videos I ever watched ten years ago, which just happened to be a Lego Star Wars homemade video.
May the Fourth be with you all!
And where I am, the month is starting off with rain. Regardless, this looks like it will be a good month for me. I'm really excited for Captain America: Civil War and X-Men: Apocalypse to be coming out this month. I plan to see Civil War at a midnight showing this coming Thursday. I've heard a lot of good things about it, and its movie I'm the most excited to see this year. I can't wait to see it. I also have a idea for a short story I want to post on the site. Its been awhile since I've w
So I finally got Mario Maker 3DS the other day and I've been playing it whenever I've gotten some free time. And I've come to one conclusion: I'm going to need to play it a LOT to become good at playing these levels. Seriously, I'm not that great at playing them. I've only done created levels that were marked as 'easy' so far and some of them I haven't been able to complete. And when I played the levels that come with the game, I probably lost 15 lives before getting to the first Bowser sta
So I finally completed The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask a couple days ago. I know I mentioned months ago that I would beat it, and now I can say that I have. It wasn't at 100% though, as I didn't get all the heart pieces or masks. But that just gives me another reason to play through it in the future. I really enjoyed the game overall. It took me some time to get used to the three day cycle and how it effected the world I was in, but once I did I started doing really well in the game. I als
I didn't know what to expect as I was making it. It was a lot easier to make than I thought it would be. I'm definitely going to try to make a few more before the week is up.
Here is an update that I probably should've posted earlier about how my family and I got through Hurricane Harvey. None of us were harmed in the storm, and we didn't lose our home or anything in it. We didn't even lose power. My parent's bedroom did take some water damage, but compared to what others have lost in the storm, we're not complaining. As for my town, it is bouncing back to how it was before Harvey hit. Some food places still have a limited menu, but overall things are getting back
