I plan to lapse into preordained subconsciousness (known to the general populace as "hitting the sack") shortly, so allow me to offer my humble apologies is this seems sub-par in quality, or lacks some kind of flair. I had to rise early today, and I will have to awaken even earlier tomorrow. These kinds of things take their toll on the lazy cerebellum.
What I wanted to make note about here was tonight's episode of "Stargate: Atlantis." This is the only television show I regularly watch (un
My computer has failed me. I am writing this from another. I will not be able to access BZ, except perhaps in scattered starts here and there, until my laptop is repaired, or barring that, until I manage to scrounge up enough money to purchase a new one. This all may take a while.
Talk at my brother Makaru or my partner-in-heroics Nikira until I am back. They are cooler than I, so you get a better deal.
Last night I got back from a Tartuffe rehearsal at about 9:15 PM. The door was unlocked, which is not how I had left it--just because there's a strict honor code at this colleges does not mean that everyone will abide by it, and I do not want to risk having my laptop, Wii, fridge, et cetera stolen. I did not fret however; I assumed my roommate had returned to the dorm and was inside. Indeed, when I opened the door, I saw that the lights were out and his bed was occupied, blankets fully drawn,
All you poseurs who think you can celebrate St. Patrick's Day
Y'all better kiss me, 'cause I AM Irish.
More Irish Flag Swimsuit babes
So proud of my heritage
Right now, on the television show "Mythbusters," they are testing a myth that I suggested to them (I, and apparently quite a number of others): the ancient legend that if one sneezes with his eyes open, his eyeballs will pop out.
Obviously common sense would say "no" and I expect the results to concur, but it certainly should be a fun one to see them test.
I posted this in the talkback thread for the announcement, but I feel I should put it here as well.
I suppose I should step in and make some introductory remarks.
Firstly, as I said in the Powercast, I am humbled - truly humbled. It's been a honour serving the BionicleZone-Power community all these years and I am shocked, thrilled, and privileged to be able to serve in this leadership capacity. BZ's been a wonderful part of my life - a place where I've found friends, spent many good hours,
The Thought Police are on BZP, and they're out to get you. Their goal is to brainwash you--they cannot tolerate thoughts that are different from yours. They are hypocrites, neo-fascists, conspiracy theorists. They are "gestapo-esque." If you want to express an opinion that is different from theirs, they'll jump down your throat and try with every fiber of their being to "prove" how "wrong" you are--and if the ball is in their court at the time, they won't even let your opinion be heard.

So, the other day I built this MOC. It was just a simple little house made from Lego bricks; I made it by stacking the bricks on top of each other, interlocking the studs.
But then Ole Kirk Christiansen called me up and was like "Dude, you totally ripped me off. I invented that way of building. Blatant rip-off."
Is this absurd, y/n?
ALLOW ME TO DESCRIBE TO YOU THE SANDWICH I AM EATING
INSTEAD OF BREAD OR A BUN IT HAS TWO WHOLE GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICHES
BETWEEN THESE ARE A SEASONED HAMBURGER PATTY, MELTED CHEESE, BACON, AND FRENCH FRIES
NEVER BEFORE HAVE I EXPERIENCED SUCH JOY
I had a big calzone at lunch, and now my stomach hurts so bad, and I still have over four hours here at work.
I mean I could just leave early and finish my work from home today, but I have a meeting in about two hours.
:(
Well, it is not "obligatory" per se, but I figured it would be excellent to drum up more activity.
So hey, all of you! There's an contest going on in that best of forums, RPG, right now. Go check it out; feel free to enter, review, vote, or all of the preceding!
Download here BZPower has always been really supportive of me over the years, as I've slowly learned how to effectively record music. My simple cover songs in the BZPowercast gave me my first real audience, Maddison (Nukaya) gave me my first radio airplay, and my outings as part of Taped Headphones with Becca (Hahli Husky) gave my my first legitimate musical collaboration. My early output was rudimentary and - let's face it - pretty awful. But you guys believed in me right from the get-go

check out this hotness Crate GFX-212 amplifier. 120 watts. It's beautiful and it sounds beautiful. I'm a big believer in checking out a lot of different amps, including odd ones not made by the big name manufacturers - the sound you want can be found in the most unlikely of places. I almost passed right by this on my way to the Vox Valvetronix I've had my eye on for a while (I've always been a fan of Vox - you can see my trusty little Pathfinder 15R on on top of the Crate in this pictur
I've added a fun little feature to this blog: "Most Recent MOC." Lately I've been MOCing a great deal more than I used to, and have been striving to improve. I've been "studying" under the tutelage of some of the best Bionicle MOCists and hope to continue bolstering the quality of my MOCs.
As for the blog feature, it is arranged in an orderly manner (let the "Linnaeus" jokes pour forth). The MOC's name is in bold, followed by a small picture of the creation, then a link to the brickshelf g
My life tonight is best illustrated by a text-message I just sent: "eating ice cream out of my Megazord bowl with my favourite spoon and listening to Stevie Wonder on vinyl. Life could only be better if I were in your arms"
The affliction started with seemingly minor things. Pronouncing "charade" as "shuh-RAHD" rather than "shuh-RAYD." A "u" slipped in a word here or there, like "behaviour." I didn't even notice it at first.
But it grew progressively more prominent. I started thinking "armor" was a misspelling. The "u's" became more common. I started saying "eh"!
Clearly those dastardly Canadians like Toofee and Janman and Makaroo are taking control of my mind. They're turning me into A CANADIAN!
I was browsing Brickset and, out of curiosity, decided to see if I could remember every Lego set I've ever owned in these nearly-22 years of my life thus far. Since they're all laid out there by year, this was easy and quick - a simple matter of just scrolling through and jotting down ones I remembered having. I know I do have more Lego bricks than what I've gleaned from these sets, because I know I had regular old Lego blocks in my infancy, as well as some old 80s space pieces, but I don't th
