So, the Bionicle websites have seen a bunch of updates this week, with two new serial entries appearing and the always present Takanuva Blog fleshing things out. Lots of story content if that's your thing, as the year, and the world we know, comes to a close.

Next month I'll be heading up to New York City for ToyFair. Because of the train schedules, I'll have quite a bit of time to kill on Friday, February 13th before ToyFair starts on Saturday. Would people be interested in meeting up somewhere, perhaps one of the LEGO stores, to hang out? It's always fun to meet and chat with members, and this seems like it could be a good opportunity. I made yet another trip to the post office for BZPower purposes. This time the Blog Contest winners had their prizes shipped as well as the prizes for some recent BBC Contests that hadn't been shipped yet, but not for the most recent contest. So if I owed you prototypes, they're on their way. Arpy, you have a boatload coming to you (two BBC Contests and the Blog one).
I still need to collect addresses for the next round of prizes, and then find boxes. I think I like shipping prototypes better

This week was pretty busy. If you're a videogame fan E3 took place, which meant a lot of announcements and new games to look at. But if you're a LEGO fan there was some news too. Two new games were announced, LEGO Indiana Jones 2 and LEGO Harry Potter, and we got a new look at LEGO Rock Band.

I have recently added a donation goal for the site, in the hopes that we can get some add-ons to help improve the BZPower experience. If you are willing and able to donate, it would be most appreciated. In other news, it's amazing sometimes how a few select members think they're being treated unfairly because they don't get Premier Perks. The system is there to reward those who help keep the site running, not to take away from others.

While I'd love to talk about Toy Fair this whole time, there's actually been a bunch of things happening recently.
First up, the thirteenth and fourteenth chapters of the Mata Nui saga have been posted. In addition, the first chapter of The Journey's End has gone live as well.
In other Bionicle.com news, Agori Defender went live too. It's a fun little Tower Defense game that's pretty diverting too.

I figured I should do something to get the birthday message out of my sig, since that was over a week ago.
So, let's see, what happened since then. I went camping with some friends, good times spent around the campfire having fun. Then me and some other friends went and saw the Colbert Report being recorded. We actually made it on the show for a split second! So today the first commercial from the Halo 3 ad campaign was released exclusively on Yahoo! While personally I enjoyed it, I can definitely see how people who aren't fans of the series may miss what it's trying to convey. Then again, they may get it completely, as it completely lacks any game footage and focuses on story and emotion. I encourage everyone to check it out.

So the military base I work at is closing tomorrow because of the hurricane. If it's that bad, then at the very least I'm expecting to lose power at some point over the next few days. So my presence here may be a little scarce. As it is, here's my plan: Go to bed tonight. Wake up tomorrow, work from home for as long as I have power. Edit the Powercast while I have time. In the event of a power failure, break out the dead tree books for some reading. Hope I don't lose power for too long.
