Where Angels Fear to Land

Our alarms went off at our now not-unusual hour of 4:00 in the morning, where we prepared ourselves for the day's hike. We drove up to the visitor's center around 5:30, when there was enough light glinting over the canyon walls to make some of the rock features out but still dark enough along the canyon floor for our brights to do little. We got to the nearly deserted parking lot and wandered around for a bit until finding the visitor center—which wasn't even open due to the early hour. We got t

What's Horrible

Feeling like you have the energy to do things but you feel too bad to do them.   I hate it when I get sick.

What's Cookin', Doc?

I am here to inform you of my imminent name change from Sumiki to Bugs Bunny.   Dr. Evil shall be changing his to Elmer Fudd.   Who else is willing to change their names to other Looney characters?

What You Are Listening To At This Very Moment

A topic which has absolutely no point whatsoever.   I'm sorry if this comes across as mean, but that topic in COT is, in my opinion, rather useless. Does anyone here actually care about what other members are listening to as they're typing their posts?   I can see the point of COT games - I have had spurts of activity in a number of them - but can someone please explain to me the exact purpose of knowing what other people are listening to?

What The Sumiki Has Been Up To

1. Went to Toronto. Oh the hilarity. 2. Went to BrickFair! Hats, plushies, MOCs, oh my. 3. Traveled around Washington, D.C. late at night with Brickeens and his dad. (As well as a lot of corny puns from everyone.) 4. Survived an earthquake. 5. Waited for BZPower to return.

What Needs To Exist

A completely clear set.   Limbs, pins, masks, everything. In clear.   I'd pay three times' it's worth.

What My Dad Thinks Of Bzp

Here's what my dad thinks about BZP:   "Oh, is that crazy Roa-Toa girl still running around?"   *facepalm*   Of course I had to correct him, mainly by telling him she's not crazy.   -=< >=-

What I Propose

A non-spoiler Spoiler tag.   That way we can hide long stuff so screens don't stretch while at the same time not "improperly using" the Spoiler tag.   Who's with me? B)

What I Don't Understand

Nuju Metru does not play any G&T games. He does not MOC. He does not participate in any RPGs.   Nuju Metru has 6519 posts, 13 per day.   That's what I don't understand. How does he do it?   -=< >=-

Westward Ho!

We left home at 2:55 PM and filled up the gas tank on the way out of town. Like our first trip, we went along I-40 and made good time. Our first stop was at the stadium of the Hickory Crawdads at 4:30.   The good ol' boys manning the front office informed us that they no longer sold pennants—in fact, they stopped production a few years ago because there weren't enough buyers. Nevertheless, one of them offered to take us through the empty stadium to their gift store, and we were willing to go alo

Our front yard has sprung a leak. It's most likely an underground water pipe.   …   What more is there to say?

Water We Doing

-----Over the past several days, our hotel breakfasts have been slipping from the upward side of mediocrity down towards the barely edible. After a couple of pancakes that hardly deserved the name—and how on Earth do you mess up a pancake?—we headed out of Champaign towards the Indiana border. We picked up much traffic en route to Indianapolis, and instead of skirting around it, we went directly into its heart to Victory Field, home of the Triple-A Indianapolis Indians.   -----But what was to
