LOL. I finally achieved a full 5,000 posts. Yeah, it took me 5.5 years, whereas I got my first 1,000 in just 1 year. But, hey, being constantly active has its rewards, even if I only have like 2 posts a day (if that).

Yes, I have no self control. It's especially difficult when I have actual money on me. But anyway, I passed through Fred Meyers and just happened to see a 15% off sale on all LEGO Bricks... seriously, wait a week and Fred Meyers will have some new kind of sale. It wasn't great, but it made a $13 set $11... so I saved about two bucks.

Is Lego controlling the release of the leaked pictures in order to create hype on fansites?
I dunno, probably not.
But here's what they should do.
They should create these totally bogus sets and release them. All the people will see them and complain. Other companies will steal the idea and make their own. And then when Lego releases the new (real) sets, everybody is completely impressed and surprised, and the other companies try to sell their plastic junk.
A Makuta from the swamp! It's Bitil the Beetle, but without the good music. He is my fourth Mistika purchase, also my second Makuta purchase, so how does he add up?
The basic design works, but it's not all too impressive. You've just got one of the new Matoran bodies with basic Rahkshi leg limbs. It's a little boring. I thought the most remarkable thing about him would be his wings, but they're not terribly good. The Slizer arms look good for making poses, but he doesn't have a majestic

Alright, the final Nuva set of the year, Onua. How does he stack up?
Well, first of all, Onua's tall. Yeah, TALL! I complained that Tahu and Gali were a little too short with their Piraka bodies, but Onua has the opposite problem. He probably could've pulled off a Piraka body, but his current design makes him tower above the other Toa... even the Phantoka. Well, not quite, but he's eye level with Lewa and Kopaka.
So you must think that I think his body is messed up.

The thing I can always count on at Fred Meyers is a "Buy Two Get One Free." It isn't perfect, but I've been waiting for it before I purchased the rest of the Mistika I want. I happened to stop by today, and I saw that the deal was up... which is kind of weird, because the summer sets just came out, but I'm not gonna question their marketing. After all, it got me to buy from them.
So now I own Bitil, Onua, and Gali. I officially have all three versions of all the Toa Nuva. Woot.

Yeah, I knew the show existed (mostly through the release of the Lego sets).
