Mario Plushies

Aren't they so adorable? I NEED MORE OF THEM!   Note: Although this image is formmatted with .JPG formatting it was converted from .MPO formatting, if you view it with a Nintendo 3DS it will be in 3D.

Fire Alarm

So, we went to the mall today for some stuff.   Granted, with my lack of money I only got a $3 Luigi keychain. It was 50% off and Luigi needs love too!   Anyway, for the third consecutive time of us being in the mall, the fire alarm goes off. The last three times we have been in malls there have been fire alarms.   Also, in most places don't people leave the building when the fire alarm goes off? Not in New York. Everyone just goes about their business. Or did I miss something here?   Silly New

The Price Of Freedom

From Angeal we were taught that Honor was everything.   From Genesis we were taught that nothing was as it seemed.   From Sephiroth we learned that even heroes could be hurt.   We learned that we always had a place for comfort by Aerith.   Cloud taught us that even the youngest of us could become heroes.   From Tseng we learned that we could trust again.   And from Zack, we learned how to become a hero.

Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword - Controls

Okay, I don't rant often, but I feel this is a rant that need to be said. There are few people who seem to completely hate Skyward Swords motion controls. I want to know, why do you hate them? Some of the people who hate them seem to be the type who only play traditional games and hate everything that is different, while saying that Zelda doesn't do enough to innovate and should be more like games like Skyrim.   Zelda is Zelda, and its fans want Zelda to innovate in its own ways, not by copying

Let's Make Some Memories!

So, I've finally gotten around to updating a few things on my blog. I've improved the layout on the left side of the blog, it looks much more visually appealing to me now. Also, I added the fabulous color purple.   It used to be one huge content block, which I have now split into smaller ones, as I feel they help to improve the presentation of my blog by splitting the different subjects.   The theme is a manga/anime called Loveless, it is also the them for my current avatar and signature. The Sickness

So, only a few select friends know this, but since early November I have been pretty sick.   How sick you ask?   Sick enough to be on a leave of absence from work that ends at the beginning of January. Almost daily I've had nausea and extreme headaches. Those are the basic symptoms, things have been most unpleasant at other times.   Needless to say, no work, means no paycheck, which means things have been incredibly hard for us.   I really do hope I get better soon, both mentally and physically

Metroid Fusion

I forgot how fun this game is.   Loving the GBA Ambassador games though, I haven't played most of them so quite a few of them are new to me.

Mario Kart 7

Welcome to Mario Kart! Or rather the BZPower Community on Mario Kart 7!   Race Rules: 150cc Grand Prix, All items Community Code is: 46-2396-1822-4197   Perhaps at some point I'll be willing to host a small tournament of sorts when we have people on it, but for now... Play Well!   Kohaku

The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword

I just beat it.   Total time was a little over 49 hours, with most sidequests completed.   It is probably the most amazing game I've ever played.   Defeating enemies has never felt so good. Defeating a horde of unending enemies has never felt better. The game makes you care for the characters.   I plan to post a full review at some point. Probably for my new website, but that is another story that I won't be able to share due to it having forums. I will post a version here.   Skyward Sword for G

Sue From Catering

So, there is an awesome Doctor Who video floating around the web.   It features the SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT Doctor Who character EVER.       Also a dancing Ood.     This is the reason I love Doctor Who.

Meeting Winston Churchill And A Dalek

During New York Comic-Con we met Winston Churchill well we sort of met him… okay we met his actor who plays him on Doctor Who, Ian McNeice. For $20 we got his autograph and we each got a picture with him.   Fawful and Winston Churchill Cilan and Winston Churchill   We also got to get our picture taken with a Dalek. Daleks are much taller than they seem, it was kind of intimidating.   Fawful and a Dalek Cilan and a Dalek   Of course I also said I had a story regarding a Nintendo representative I

The Video Games Of New York Comic-Con

On Friday, James and I started off and went to one booth. Seeing as I am a huge Nintendo fan we headed there first. I shall list off the games as we played them. Here you can see Fawful playing Skyward Sword.   Super Mario 3D Land Felt like a classic Mario game You hold a button to run 3D effect makes it easier to judge distance Tanooki suit worked well, flutter jumping felt like it does with Yoshi Fire Flower works like it does in New Super Mario Bros. series, there is no timer Boom Boom w

Cosplay Of New York Comic-Con

Welcome to part one of my New York Comic-Con coverage, today I am showing off some of the cosplay we saw at NYCC.   While at New York Comic Con one of the things you’ll notice first is the cosplay. Even I cosplayed as Fawful from the Mario & Luigi series of RPGs. My specific cosplay was actually a little bit popular, not as popular as some, but I was recognized by quite a few people.   Let’s start with day one, which for us was Friday. We actually didn’t take too many pictures on Friday we t

Return Of Mustard

Well, I've gone with a classic blog revamp, Mustard of Your Doom. Yay evil mustard!   Really though... there is a reason for this. At New York Comic Con... things happened. There was a horrible mutation involving beans and I was transformed into this:     I am become Fawful, master of the fury!   Anyway, I was working on a NYCC entry for today when the program I was using crashed and everything I wrote up was deleted. So, I will write it up again tomorrow after work.   After all the fun covere

Still Alive

*blows dust of the old blog*   Well, I haven't been here in a while. Not for lack of trying. Things have been... interesting. You see, back in January we lost our internet which has made things suck. What has happened in my life since then... a lot and not a lot all at the same time.   Overall not too much has happened, but thanks to a friend from Ligaly (Long Island Gay and Lesbian Youth) I can log onto the intarwebs! It isn't as much as I'd like, but it gives me a way to keep an eye on all o
