The BBCC50 MOC continues it's very slow march to amazingness!
I'm a pretty big fan of what I've got so far, and here's hoping you'll like it too.
(You didn't think I had pictures, did you?)
Alright guys. I know this is my fault.
BUT-
Colour layering is not the only effective and good-looking way to organize the colours on a MOC.
Colour grouping can often look fantastic (where you 'group' the colours on a MOC together, all the red in one spot, the black in another, etc).
There's colour detailing, 'flair', etc to be taken into account as well. Sometimes, there are people who wear a blue shirt, with a red jacket, and the red jacket has blue detailing.
And vehicles and
Today I did something so grown up!
I booked a flight, and paid for the tickets!
I am now officially ready for Brickfair.
Well, there is that BBC 50 MOC, I suppose.....
Dear Hasbro/Takara/Cartoon-makers-
Enough G1 nostalgia marketing. If G1 fanboys aren't sated by now, they never will be.
Instead of all this G1 aimed merchandise, please consider merchandise aimed at the most important branch of TF lore:
Beast Wars.
I need some Beast Wars nostalgia love. I'm running low, HasTakCartoonist amalgamation. I demand that Classics 3.0 be launched immediately featuring exclusively Beast Wars characters.
Demand.
I <3 Beast Wars.
With love,

Just some things of note:
- I found Animated Jazz today! He is super neat, and I love him.
- No, the Target I work for doesn't have Mistika. No, not even in the backroom. We have not even received the shipment yet.
- I cannot wait for BBC 50...
- I'm still at a loss as to how a grey MOC with a secondary of lime can have 'too much lime'. It's a grey MOC. Get over it.
- My Fourth sucked. Night before some freakin' awesome kids set off illegal fireworks behind our house (there's a large Ming
I don’t like the steps I took to get to look into your deepest feelings
And I don’t like the place I’m in headspace within the hardwood and the ceiling
Cause if I’m restless than why do I
I want nothing but to rest my soul
And I don’t get this and I know why
You see sometimes things are just beyond control
But I don’t mind but I’m not surprised to find that you do
I’m not surprised to find that you do
I know you do
And I feel fine
But I know the same does not apply to you
I know the
I have seen so very many people complaining about this whole 'custom' nonsense lately. The majority has decided that MOCs need not be 'custom' to be good.
And to this I say...
True, but this is also not an excuse to go out and build oodles of Toamods, or other regurgitated lumps of parts. When most of us discuss something 'not being custom' being alright, we're not giving free reign to just build different versions of the same thing (as an aside, TLC please read that and apply it to your
Alright, here's the first order...
This is 691 pieces, 42 lots, and cost $42. The second order adds another near one hundred pieces, and should arrive Saturday or so.
This is a fantastic summer for music releases.

So, the last book in the Legacy of the Force arc.
It's shorter than I expected.
But it's good. Not like, Revenge of the Sith novelization good, or NJO: Traitor good, and it didn't have the emotional impact that NJO: Star by Star did, but nonetheless, it's good.
And yes, I am a manly man who weeps manly tears at the happenings in a fictional universe (Anakin Solo's death in Star by Star was heart wrenchingly difficult).
But this book is fantastic at the emotional manipulations. You kn
Death Cab for Cutie's new CD came out today.
It's amazing.
You should buy it.
I know I will.
(And yes, I'm an AFOL. No, I don't want to be an ambassador [at least, not right now. I'm too busy having a college life (though the bulk of that ended a week ago, now it's summer)]. Thanks for the PMs, you two.)
No, I will not vote for you. Because you solicited me. That's not how the game works!
Also, I feel very apathetic towards the Finals this contest. The entries that made it I feel are very lackluster, and am genuinely (and sadly) surprised that they made it to the Finals. I can think of a better MOC in every poll that was held that these beat that should have made it instead.
Ergo, I withhold my vote from this contest, as I do not reward lackluster entries in a contest with a vote.

So I only have one more class to attend before the school year is done for good. One more class means one more final. Like I'm worried about my French 2 grade. Haha.
Anyway, in the same vein as this entry from almost a year ago, here is...
Things I learned during my Junior year in college: Once again, GO TO CLASS (yes KIE, this is for you) Don't try to date Freshman as anything but a Freshman. Bad idea. Seriously. Leave the Freshman alone. (They don't know enough of who they are yet) Don't
I have finished my entry!
However, there will be no pictures until Monday, as I will be leaving town tomorrow as soon as I am awake, showered, and dressed.
Rest assured, faithful denizens, that though the wait shall be long, that I too am suffering, as I am quite looking forward to your thoughts!
Because hey, I love this one. Love.
HT's dismantling was not in vain!
As much as it pains me to say.... Rock, Chalk, Jayhawk!!!
Yes, kids, that's right. I just won every bracket pool I was in! Including the BZP staff pool! And I'm not even staff!
<<DV: my bracket kicked the stuffing out of KIE's this year! >>
