We're going on free and reduced lunch.
Pros:
-No more brought lunches that get crushed under all my school stuff
-HOT FOOD
-Saves us money (which we really need)
Cons:
-After bringing for almost three years, people are going to ask why I'm buying all of a sudden
-I don't want to tell anyone, out of pride (you guys don't count cuz I can't really shame myself too bad on BZP)
-God forbid anyone does find out, I worry that I might be subject to teasing
The pros definitely outweigh the
I personally gotta say that they're the best pop-punk band I've ever heard. But no one knows who they are. Seriously, they're punk but they didn't lose the pop sound either. It's brilliant...lyrics are fantastic and the songs are really just infectious, with Commit This To Memory probably being the best album (the other two are great, though). How many people would agree that they're one of the most under-appreciated pop-punk bands that's been around for a decent amount of years?
Or, a better
North Carolina law lets me get a learner's permit at 14 1/2. Which I'm conveniently coming up on in a few months. So I'll be learning to drive on what I think are the country's worst roads (generally, NCs are terrible drivers). Good experience, right? Only problem is that I don't have a car. My dad won't let me drive his truck, and I'm not gonna drive my mom's 10-year-old Odyssey. So I was car-less up until yesterday.
My dad was talking to my neighbor - a really nice old man who does a lot o
I was just on the phone for an HOUR talking to some girl who decided I'm her new best friend. 'Bout half that time she was talking to other people in the room, though. I had to make up an excuse to get off the phone - I couldn't sit there talking until 12. Mostly because if I did, she would pretty much know every detail of my life up to today. Which really isn't that much. I can tell my life story in about 5 minutes.
I went to my friend's house today. He taught me a bunch of stuff on guitar (though by the end of the night I'd decided I wanted to learn bass), and then we went over to one of his friend's houses. Gah, names...my friend will be Andy, and Andy's friend'll be Matt. xP
Well, Andy had been telling me a lot of stuff about Matt being an awesome singer; and, y'know, you get that rocker image stuck in your mind, right? Well, when we went to his place, Matt was about the furthest thing from what I ex
Does anyone have a good site or something to learn to sing? I'm working on my songwriting still, but I wanna be able to sing when it comes time (and play guitar, but I've already found a good way to learn that).
Really...like, some of you out there must be singers. :S Please help me out; I don't really know where to go or how to learn. Thanks.
I have pretty extreme mood swings throughout the day. Like today - I went from pretty calm and normal to extremely happy and a bit hyper to sad and almost depressed. If any of you actually keep up with my blog (which I'm sure you don't), I was rejected by a girl last year and I went into something short of depression. And apparently I come from a long line of emotionally traumatic family. So it's not entirely impossible; how much of it is regular teenage stuff and how much might actually be bipo
Working on a new blog theme for October/Halloween. And my blog name/description is probably gonna change a lot in the next couple hours because I'm trying to find a good new name...
Yes, I'm already bored with my old one.
Somehow, I wound up "engaged" to a girl in my language arts class. So, uh...yeah. You can all come to my bachelor party. Guys only.
And you have to have been a guy your whole life. Plzandthnku
Went to one of the high school games again tonight. We sucked. Again. Our team's terrible, our league's too good, and our coach biites. Doesn't matter cuz I wasn't watching. This one kid's girlfriend...her eyes were almost totally blue. No pupils. Still high on soda.
I gave a kid a nasty joke the
There are good things and bad things about your mother being a teacher. One is that you can't keep anything from her. So I got signed up for Tri-M, which is basically a Beta Club for music people. :/ What's worse is that the meeting's tonight and I have to go to the building dedication (since this is a new middle school). That's, like, TWO HOURS. Pretty...yeah. And then the meeting at five. Gah.
Someone posted a status on Facebook saying that a guy at their party had the swine flu. So now it could be going around my school. Anyone know the symptoms for it? I think I have the cold bug that's going around my school too, but it's probably a good idea not to take any chances, considering all the bad stuff we hear about H1N1.
From the girl I called something I shouldn't have called her back in February. Didn't see that coming. I'll take it the right way this time - friends but not really friends.
Wouldn't that be awesome? I could get a good-quality camera, and iHome, a better iPod Touch (and protection ), a MacBook Pro, and all the '09 sets...
Then life would be good. What about you guys?
Swan Songs is only $8 at Target. I can get the new movie and a Glatorian at Toys 'R' Us for $23 or something along those lines. Trying to decide - do I want Hollywood Undead or Bionicle...
I probably shouldn't be asking this on a forum filled with Bionicle fans. I think I already know the answer I'll get from all of you. :]
I got it. It's my first non-digital CD. I love it, even though I already had four songs. I need to get more non-digital CDs, there's something cool about 'em.
Title says all. Yeh. I do songwriting when I get inspired, which is usually about once every...month or two, I'd say. Every time I write a song, I get better, so this is the best yet. Kinda follows the styling's of Hollywood Undead in its warfare-esque theme (without all of Hollywood Undead's profanity). It basically challenges American moral values; I don't wanna say anything beyond that until I can figure out how to put copyright or something on it. And all my works, so that I can publish the
