By some incredible miracle, all six Stars were available, either in Toys "R" Us or at the Lego Store. So I have them all for Christmas and I can still get the three albums I want without exceeding budget (the albums are Waking Up by OneRepublic, Hot Mess by Cobra Starship, and The Script by The Script).
And for the first time since 2001, I'm going to have all six sets in a lineup at once, all under the Christmas tree. And just to add irony to that situation, the ones I got in 2001 were the f
*sighs* I'm not ready to go back.
But I have no choice, of course. It'll be nice to see my friends again, but the workload isn't very appealing to me. Which reminds me...I need to work on my time management. I really can't get behind in homework. Or schoolwork - though the only reason I didn't last year was because I refused to wear glasses. Hopefully I'll have an eye doctor appointment soon so I can get contacts. It's easy to get behind when you can't see the board.
After waaay too long a delay, the final voting for Silver and Gold no More is up!
Please vote for only one entry. Voting ends November 6th.

Thanks for participating, guys, and the best of luck to our three finalists!
Title says all. Yeh. I do songwriting when I get inspired, which is usually about once every...month or two, I'd say. Every time I write a song, I get better, so this is the best yet. Kinda follows the styling's of Hollywood Undead in its warfare-esque theme (without all of Hollywood Undead's profanity). It basically challenges American moral values; I don't wanna say anything beyond that until I can figure out how to put copyright or something on it. And all my works, so that I can publish the

First "Lovelife" Entry
Could this have seriously happened coincidentally? Could I have seriously gotten the answer to my biggest question regarding Kirsten at such a good moment?
Not quite so good at the time, though...
First, though, I should introduce you to two new people to add into the complex mix of people in my life.
Bink: A pretty good-hearted kid who, like me, doesn't quite fit in with the rest of the kids in my grade. Like, fits in OK, but has to try to
I made a list of all the sets I believe I have. I'm not actually selling anything yet, but I'd like to know if there's actually an interest in any of these. I'm assuming I'd charge $3 for a small set, $6 for a canister set, and $10 for a large set (give or take, depending on the size of the model and the original price). If I do this, it'd be for cash only - I would be doing this because I desperately want a bass guitar.
Here's the list:

I personally gotta say that they're the best pop-punk band I've ever heard. But no one knows who they are. Seriously, they're punk but they didn't lose the pop sound either. It's brilliant...lyrics are fantastic and the songs are really just infectious, with Commit This To Memory probably being the best album (the other two are great, though). How many people would agree that they're one of the most under-appreciated pop-punk bands that's been around for a decent amount of years?
Or, a better
So I went to Andy's place. Matt didn't show up, but we hung out in the Wal-Mart plaza, and that was fun even thought it was raining. We bought Tropic Thunder and watched it (forgot how funny that movie was). Fun day...and I only have to live through two days this week before Thanksgiving break.
My dad built a campfire in our backyard and I was sitting out there writing songs. It made me feel like a bit of a southerner, but hey, it was peaceful; good atmosphere to get all my emotions out. The songs aren't too remarkable, but they have good hooks.
It's only eighth grade...I shouldn't have 3 1/2 hours of homework. But I did, and I probably will every night. Honors LA and Math give a ton of homework by themselves - I had to read three chapters of Lord of the Flies (which is actually a pretty good, if a bit sick, book) and answer questions, do three pages worth of not-so-easy Pre-Algebra review, and do about an hour's worth of stupid history homework.
The history's what's getting to me. That SHOULD NOT be a subject I get all that much hom

I already cried out of fear, so now I get to cry out of exhaustion.
Today...actually wound up going pretty fast. I'm doing well in everything, including math; I had one of the highest grades on the test for Chapter 1 Pre-Algebra, a 97. The only grade higher was the single person who got a 100. Which is better than the people with 60s, 70s, and 80s can say. o_O Most of the class did really badly.
Also, just as a reminder, my blog poll ends in a couple days. You can ev
Does anyone have a good site or something to learn to sing? I'm working on my songwriting still, but I wanna be able to sing when it comes time (and play guitar, but I've already found a good way to learn that).
Really...like, some of you out there must be singers. :S Please help me out; I don't really know where to go or how to learn. Thanks.

*sniffles miserably* May I ask a question of you? Why are the weekends so short? Why do we not get more time? I'd be happy if we had Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off instead of just two days. It just doesn't seem long enough. *sighs* School tomorrow; I'm looking forward to the Technology Club meeting, at least...this sounds like it's gonna be really fun. I'll give you an update on that soon.
I make a new week's resolution: to update my blog EVERY day.
Well now, I h

BOO! It's that time of year again: Halloween!
Okay, okay, October, but almost Halloween.
Anyway, my blog has been renovated; for some reason, though, I couldn't get the orange working in some Content Blocks as my subfont, so I wound up changing all Blocks to pure black, which I think looks pretty good. The orange used for my post's HTML color notation can be found in my info box.
I would have posted yesterday, but I was trying to fix the Content Blocks 'n' all...

Great news: I got more storage bins for my pieces!
Great news for me, at least.
I bought five new bins, $21.42, a great deal. Granted, I could have had two new canister sets or four new Matoran, but I really needed the extra space.
I now have 12 bins filled to the brim with pieces.
I really recommend these things; they're clear plastic bait boxes. Not fancy ones or anything. Look for them in the fishing section of your local Wal Mart--you can probably find the

This fits under both good news and bad news for once.
All right, a couple weeks ago, I posted that my ThinkPad 600X Series laptop died. We did everything we could to try to save it--even bought a new hard drive--but eventually we realized that it was dead and something was wrong with the harddrive. At that point, the guy at Radioshack said, you're better off with a brand new laptop.
And so, that is what we have decided to do. I'm getting an Inspiron Model I1525-139B. Re
Pretty boring day...had a checkup and got stuck clothes shopping at Old Navy. We did get Sonic milkshakes, so I guess that made it worthwhile. I joined a legit, invite only prize earning site, too...hoping to get a MacBook. School laptops Are great, but the website blocks and program limits make it barely worth anything for personal use.
December 8, 2008 (D6-8 Blog)
Here's my summary of my weekend and today. You ready for this? 'Kai, I'll try to do it all in one breath.
D6: I got accepted by the Duke TIP Talent Search Program to take the SATs as a way to see what we would be taking in 11th or 12th grade. And lemme tell you, IT WAS LONG. And pretty hard. But I don't think I did too bad. I can't say much past that, since I'm legally bound to not disclose anything about the test. xD
D7: We put up all our decorations outsid
BOOM! THROW STREAMERS UP IN the AIR FELLAS! PARTY!
I dunno. But let me get away with it, please, it's my birthday.
I'm two years old. =DD Celebrate my awesometime at the sitepower BZ.
Now, see if you get that, then tell me wut mask I'ma wearing now.

Sadly, I am back in school. No one likes school, especially not coming right back from a seemingly short summer.
I got a couple minutes on BZP, enough time to post my blog and check a couple other websites; then I had to get on the bus with my brother, who we shall pseudonym as C-red.
We saw a rainbow outside before the bus came; it was a short trip. My brother is in the high school, and the bus takes both middle schoolers and high schoolers; the high schoolers being

Tonight it's "it can't get much worse"
Vs. "no one should ever feel like..."
I didn't ask her out. But at the end of the day, things turned out well - but the day isn't over yet.
LAST NIGHT
She started texting me, I think after DB4Z called her. Just general stuff...I asked her if she was going to the dance (indirectly), but she had to go to bed, so I didn't find out.
GYM
I was too scared to ask her out - a
