Avatar was a great movie. I think the word 'beautiful' best describes this colorful and lively film. Almost instantly you are drawn into the environments of Pandora as Jake Sully test-drives his avatar for the first time.
Yes, the CGI was amazing. At certain points where action sequences would pick up, you could notice the computer animation, but during dialogue scenes I was blown away. I think the part that I most noticed where the eyes of the Omatiyaca (I think that's what they're called).

Tragedy struck at the Wa^2 household yesterday evening. While trying to setup and enjoy a lovely game of Halo 3:ODST's Firefight mode with good friend Than: Matoran of Anger, my Xbox360 began to not want to work properly. This job will allow me to get a 30Gig iPod Video. I've been wanting an MP3 player for a while and when I heard Apple announced some new iPods, I was happy. I was originally going to get the 8G Nano, but that costs the same as a 30G Video. There wasn't much to think about. The video is the better buy.
