I logged into the forums to update the Staff History topic (Thanks, Ziko!) and noticed I had a birthday topic I hadn't checked out yet. A few people commented about my inactivity on the forums. Over the past six months I've started a real job and moved into my own apartment. Full-time work takes a good bit of energy out of you, and I chose to relax mostly by watching Netflix, Hulu or playing my Xbox with friends. So I'm a Senior in high school now. Today was my last day because I found out that I'm exempt from -all- of my exams. I know Than, you can't get exempt. I'm sorry for you.
On the other hand, the season finale for Heroes was superb. More questions answered than new ones, I'd say, which makes it easier to wait for season 2. I can't wait for the DVD box set of season 1 because I missed the first half of the season.

So it was pretty much the coldest it's been all school year the -first- day we get back from Christmas break. Odd, because a few days before Christmas, I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt.

I've probably got the largest case known to mankind. It's gotten to the point where I don't pay one bit of attention in class.
Why do all the teachers have to decide to give us one last test before spring break? Physics, Brit. Lit, College Algebra, and Vocab all tomorrow? Geez, people.
Really, it's one of the best games I've ever played. And I'm only a few hours into the game. If you're old enough or trusted by your parents, you should check out this game. I mean, haven't you always wanted to incinerate people, watch them jump into water while you ready your electricity to shock them? At least in a video game. And the Big Daddies are so freakin' hard to take down. I only wish I had more time to play it. Plus, it has incredibly replay value.
Not to mention, it was only $50
No school tomorrow or Friday! It's about time I get a few days off.

So I found out that I'm exempt from all of my exams except for one. I'm not too worried about taking it, though, it's only English. The only thing I'm worried about is not getting enough time to finish the composition after the actual test. But I managed to pull out an essay (including outline, rough draft, and editing the rough draft) in about 30 minutes or so today. But once I'm done with this exam...

Does anyone have any suggestions for series that I would like, based on the fact that I like the Inheritance cycle (please don't come in here to hate on that series). I was in a Cracker Barrel in Virginia and found an audio book that caught my eye - the author is Naomi Novik. The series I found is apparently an alternate history set in the Napolean era which sounds freaking awesome. Any readers of this series?

Excellent game. I eagerly anticipate the finale of the series. Hats off to you BioWare, I don't think a video game series has ever had such an intriguing story.

I opened a letter yesterday that was sent to me from my school and thoroughly read it. It turns out that our school -finally- set up a scholarship for academics instead of sports (mostly football, which hardly won half their games this past season). So my parents do not have to pay any tuition for my entire school Senior year, only books, etc. That should save them a few thousand dollars to put away towards my college tuition. That beats me taking out a loan so soon. I know I'll have to pull out
As has become tradition, I went to PAX East 2013 in Boston this past weekend. My good friends Andrew, Nate and Adrian (and others not on these forums) accompanied me. If I may, I believe I speak for the entire group in saying we all had an extraordinary time. This was my third time in Boston and my affection for that city grows every year. I would highly enjoy the chance to visit the city outside of PAX and experience of the culture that town has to offer. Maybe this weekend I'll write a blog
2009 was a great year for me. In review, here are some of the reasons why I thought this year was awesome:
- Finished my first year of college
- Met one of my closest friends
- Drove by myself to San Antonio to see said friend graduate from Basic Military Training
- Went on a youth trip to Orlando, Florida; while there, I went to Walt Disney World for the first time (okay, second, but first was when I was about 2 years old)
- Went on a family vacation to Williamsburg, Virginia, probably m
The Incredible Hulk was an amazing movie. I would say it was right on par with Iron Man, if not a little bit better (Liv Tyler is hotter than whats-her-face.). So anyone who enjoys good action/super hero movies should see this one as well.
I also saw Get Smart this weekend, which was very funny. It was better than Zohan in the sense that Get Smart had an actual plot and action in it.
Oh BTW, I'm the coolest Transformer evar!
Yes, folks, the HALO 3 BETA TEST lands this Wednesday! I'd definately skip school all day Wednesday if I knew I could still get exempt from all my exams. I almost feel like not going to church, either, but maybe I just won't hang out long afterwards.
