There's nothing quite like remembering things the moment before you've spelled your own doom.

I can think of plenty of times at my job where I averted disaster or embarrassment by remembering things at the last possible second. I know I'd be mad if somebody forgot to put the ranch in my to-go order.

There's also those times in conversations when you're about to say something and right as you open your mouth you realize that a person in the conversation might be offended by something or the joke may be ill-timed (black humor around somebody who just experienced a death in the family, for example).

You know what else? Remembering things like posting a weekly blog entry every Wednesday when you've only got a half-hour left on the clock before it's too late. xD
