Riglax Posted March 26, 2011 And I thought this was gonna be MSPA related D: Anyways, this reminds me of the Scorptions song, The Good Die Young. Quote Link to comment
Legolover-361 Posted March 26, 2011 So I'm going to die young? In all seriousness, life does seem that way sometimes, doesn't it? Determined to weed out a lot of deserving people. Quote Link to comment
xccj Posted March 26, 2011 I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints. Quote Link to comment

Makaru Posted March 27, 2011 One by one, only the good die young. They're only flying too close to the sun. Quote Link to comment
Lara White Posted March 27, 2011 You seem to be confusing the good for the avaricious. From what I can extract from the metaphors here, y'all seem to be supporting corruption and hedonism? Is this correct? y/n (Please say no. I would be very sad if this was true) (To clarify, I mean no disrespect. I am simply stating what I observe.) Quote Link to comment
Lara White Posted March 27, 2011 Clearly. I recommend "So Long Self". It's a catchy tune, humorous lyrics, and a message I agree with. Still working in being perfect, though. Quote Link to comment

Well, you might've heard I run with a dangerous crowd. We ain't too pretty; we ain't too proud We might be laughing a bit too loud, aw, but that never hurt no one Quote Link to comment
Lara White Posted March 27, 2011 As a Latin proverb says, "The excess of mirth leads to tears." Quote Link to comment

Lara White Posted March 27, 2011 No, but I am familiar with what happens to people who break the law. It generally involves prison, which I have no intention of going to. A career in law enforcement is generally hard to get when you have a criminal record. Quote Link to comment

Catra Posted March 27, 2011 Clearly. I recommend "So Long Self". It's a catchy tune, humorous lyrics, and a message I agree with. Still working in being perfect, though. Do you like MercyMe? Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Undone came out in '04, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Casting Crowns, but I think Bart has a far much more bitter, cynical sense of humor. In '06, MercyMe released this, Coming Up to Breathe, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "So Long Self", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of forgiveness, and the importance of spirituality, it's also a personal statement about the band itself! Quote Link to comment
Lara White Posted March 27, 2011 Aho: Seconded. HH: I...wha? What does a citizen's arrest have to do with anything? Quote Link to comment
Queen of Noise Posted March 27, 2011 I live my life like there's no tomorrow All I've got, I had to steal! 'Least I don't need to beg or borrow Yes, I'm living in a place that kills!! Quote Link to comment
Lara White Posted March 27, 2011 Grand theft (anything more than $200 dollars (may be more or less depending on the state)) is punishable by up to a year in prison, while petty theft is punishable by up to six months. Repeat offenders may be subject to life imprisonment in some states. However, if you are in "a place that kills", somehow I think that you may want to focus on getting out before you worry about life imprisonment. (I know, I'm such a killjoy. However, pessimists tend to be right more often.) Quote Link to comment
Queen of Noise Posted March 27, 2011 Hey, when I walk the streets, Kings and Queens step aside Every woman I meet, they all stay satisfied I wanna tell ya pretty baby: well, ya see, I make my own I'm here to tell ya, honey, that I'm bad to the bone Quote Link to comment
Lara White Posted March 27, 2011 That seems indicative of a high chance of recidivism, which means that you probably wouldn't get a chance for bail or parole. The first few lines are indicative of narcissistic personality disorder as well. And yes, I do study these sorts of things because I'm bored. Quote Link to comment
